Not wanting to anger Neo any further, Kovu nodded and quickly ran off. Maybe he might be able to find Vitani and play with her for a little, and try to forget about what had happened today.

Nearby, Delano was resting when he heard Neo order Kovu away. He slowly got up and approached his friend, right away noticing the wound Neo had. "What happened?" he asked, hoping that the question was not out of line.

He nodded towards you and sat down his wound was still ozzing blood which slipped down his face and into his mane.

"Kovu went into the pridlands and met up with one of Simba's kids mother took it out on me"he said angrily but quietly.

Delano looked at where Kovu had ran off at. "Why would he do that?" he asked, also quietly, "doesn't Zira spend all her time with him now, training him?" He shrugged, deciding that he won't be too interested in the answer. "You will be alright, though?" he asked, motioning at Neo's wound, "want to go see Astra?"

"What do you think I am a pridelander"he laughed he looked back at you more serious this time. "Yeah I would like that alot."

Delano grinned at Neo's joke. "No, you're not," he said, "you're better than the Pridelanders." He motioned at the termite mounds behind him. "Come on. You're the reason why she stayed here, remember? Don't give her a reason to run away."

He smilled thinking of his sister and walked to the termite mounds his bane blowing slightly from thw wind he padded up to his sister and gently pawed her. "Hey there"

Delano followed Neo towards Astra, but stayed back when Neo reached his sister. He didn't know if he should simply leave or not, but he didn't feel comfortable yet sitting down next to Neo and Astra. This was time for them to get to know each other.

"Hey Neo"She smiled at him Neo couldn't think what to say mabye this time it would be best just to smile at each other.

Delano sat back a way's off, deciding that he would observe, but not interfere as Neo talked with Astra. He watched his friend, wondering how the normally tough Outlander would act to Astra, who while is Neo's sister, was still a Pridelander.

"I am as well" he smiled back.
