It's The End Of The World As We Know It.. And I feel fine

When I made this I meant for this to be a serious discussion over our feelings of the world and where it is going. I'd appreciate it if you didn't make fun of it. Thanks.

And also people, the US government is bad. We police the world and think that it's right. If we are to be so worried over being attacked by a foreign country, then what we should do is bomb the rest of the world. it's the only way that we won't be threatened at all by a foreign country. I'm not trying to say that bombing is right, i'm saying that the US needs to get out of other countries and stop trying to police and control the world. Also the US values has gone down. When it first became a free nation it was known as the land of opportunities. Now, it's a horrible I want this I'm going to have it and be wealthy so here's some drugs that you can get hooked on.

If you look at the Eagle that represents the ''god-blessed'' United States showing her powerfull wings, you'll notice how the Eagle is filled with pride and arrogance. She looks as if she is sitting high up in a nest were nobody or nothing will be able to touche her. But in reality, the eagle's wings are already plucked, and she is unable to fly away when a threat comes up to her nest. But yet she is too proud to admit her weakness, and denies her wings are plucked because she thinks NOTHING can ever get up to her nest and harm her.

What I'm saying, the eagle PERFECTLY describes the arrogant U.S government how they think they are untouchable. Their ''power'' over their own people and the entire world is nothing but an illusion. They can keep playing police officer and point their finger at everyone who are ''bad'' in their eyes, but look at how many fingers point back at them... Their arrogance will be their downfall one day. Just wait and see what will happen when the world wakes up and the so-called mighty U.S government will be revealed how weak they truley are...

sadly Nick, most people already know what the US government is. We just don't care about it, we are so self centered so that if it doesn't effect us directly then we don't care what they are doing. That's what happened with the holocausts. No one cared about what happened to the Jews. We closed our borders to them for a while then after Pearl Harbor we had to play the martyr and go to war, and of course we couldn't keep our borders closed then.

well, I actually believe all or most governments over the world besides only the american government are corrupt, and constantly lie to their citizens throughout the media. for example, where is this so-called H1N1 virus from a few years ago? it supposedly caused an world-wide epidemic, but now we won't hear no more about it all of a sudden as if it just ''vanished''... I dont even think the H1N1 virus excisted at all, but it was just to scare people into taking the very VERY bad vaccines that are little to no good at all to our health. who knows what they will lure us into next time...

that is absolutely true. before the "swine flu" there was mad cow disease. There is so many things that they lie about and hide from us. Then they also make us go into a pandemic afraid of something. I find that they hide stuff from us.

Oh they hide many things for us for sure. They even have plans for us. Look up REX-84 and the other subjects in my world issues topics. Those are the things which I believe we should be extremely coutious at.

I've thought about this before. No matter what happens, I can be assured it won't be pretty, for anyone. I see a third world war in the future. China, Russia, Iran, and maybe a few others, against America, Japan, Israel, and some European countries who would be dumb enough to back us up.

I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to start an all out nuclear war, but if it does happen, humanity is over, along with almost all life on Earth.

Or, we'll eventually realize we don't need oil, and move up to the next big stage of civilization. But I have my doubts about that.

lolwut, we're allies with both Russia and China so how does that make any sense? If we were to get into a war with Russia, you do realize that the entire world would be screwed, right?

We do need oil, though. Sure, there are cars that run off of water now, but how distant do you think it'd be into the future that we're ever actually going to be driving those cars without having to give your arm and your leg for it? And either way, we wouldn't be able just to get rid of the old cars. The economy would just get even worse then it is.

I definately think in the (near?) future, we will lose our privacy and freedom. several days ago, I had to get a new passport because my old one expired, and I actually had to take FINGER PRINTS! I felt like a bloody criminal taking fringer prints... I can't even remember taking finger prints the last time I got a new passport. What will be the next time? being forced to wear a microchip under my skin with ALL my personal data and info?

Exactly. The only reason why our economy is still afloat is because of oil. All oil is traded in USD. China and Iran really aren't happy with us about that.

No, we don't. That's just what Exxon-Mobil wants us to believe. You know the typical internal combustion engine is no more than 10% efficient? Do you really think we can't do better than that? I know we can. We have electric cars today that are just as effective for short trips (about 2-3 hours), and I have ideas for future improvements.

And for long distance trips, what about bullet trains? It might sound expensive, but you know, after a few years the government would actually profit from such a system, whereas the taxes we have on gasoline today aren't even near enough to maintain our roads.

We'll survive without oil. Just leave that to me. It's kinda going to be my job (hopefully).
