Nova and Neo

Neo stood his ground this time there was a puddle of blood on the ground his blood but he didn't care this had happed many times before. "Calm down my name's Neo am from my uncle's pride he lives close to here."

Nova froze as Neo mentioned this and she relaxed a little. Surely she would have recognized this lion if he had been working for her father. But who was his uncle? Was there really another pride nearby?

"Your uncles pride?" She asked

"Yes he's training me so how'd ya wound up in a p[lace lick this" he said cassully kicking a hyena's body.

Nova scowled as Neo kicked the hyena's body. She assumed he had killed it. She was secretly impressed, but she would never show it. Then, hearing his question, her ears fell flat on her head and she looked away awkwardly.

"That doesn't concern you. All you need to know is, I come from far away" She said, then looked back at Neo "What brings you to this-" She looked around the elephant graveyard "Wonderful place?" She said with deepest sarcasm.

He laughed abit to himself he couldn't belive this lionesses confidence but it didnt matter he quickly regained his compsue. He began circling her "Oh you can keep a secreat I like that"he smiled and then went to the same hyena's body. "Well you know patrolling and you get a little hungry"he started to eat the hyena

Nova followed Neo with her eyes. She wasn't sure what to make of this lion. Though if he were an enemy, he would have attacked her already. When he started eating the hyena she snarled in disgust.

"You'd rather have a hyena then a gazelle or a zebra?" Nova said, wincing as he ate the vile creature.

He looked at her bemused "I don't know I;ve never had it before hyena has been all that I've ever ate."He smilled looking at the half eaten corpse I feel like I'm getting payback these are the pack that killed my father.

Nova let out a small gasp.

"Hyena killed your father?" Nova asked, somewhat alarmed by this.

"H-How?" She asked, both curious and confused.

He looked up at you nodding slowly as if he was rembering something bad that happed in his past he sighed his head down still munching the hyena. He looked up "They ate...alive."he said planly."

Nova's eyes widened with horror. How could hyena's do such a thing? She knew they were vile beasts, but to eat a lion alive. She hung her head slightly.

"Im sorry" She said after sometime.
