Who Would Make the Best Ruler?

Actually Simba and Zira were about to fight one-on-one right before Kovu And Kiara jumped in.

Agreed, Simba would have the advantage in a fight, but it would still be a tough fight.

Hm, true, I think Zira's deluded enough to try and take on Simba without her pride; and think she can win. I doubt she's clever enough to really use anything to her advantage, just psycho enough to try and blindly rip Simba to shreds.

Meh, I think Mufasa and Simba are both great kings, and I think the legacy of The Lion King is about them both. I'd say they're equal.

Mufasa, he seemed to be alot better. Simba showed to hold a grudge against Scar's follwers, and well as for Kiara...she's just really annoying.

I chose Mufasa because he is so noble, smart, and strong. He would give up his life for those he loves (he did). I would say Simba but in SP he fails. In the first movie he wants the others to trust him and let go of the past, and they do. They accept him, even though he ran away. Then he goes and distrusts Kovu because of his father. Kiara just reminds me of a dumb blond (no offense Kiara fans) and she wouldn't be that great as a ruler

I'll go with Simba cause I thought we didn't know enough about how Mufasa was ruling the Pride Lands and we just don't know anything about Kiara's. Anyway maybe Simba has his defects but I think he is a awesome king after all. And just for a refresh, that's him who saved the Pride Lands of Scar and the hyenas, and it counts a lot for me.

Well that's basically what the second movie was about; Simba letting go of the hate towards Scar that still lived in him.

And about the "war" between the Outsiders and Pridelanders... I just have one question. Where were the lionesses when Simba was taking on at least 5 Outsiders? I don't recall them being outnumbered.

I think Mufasa, he has a lot of good leader qualities. Simba is a fine King, and he did make the best of a bad situation, but in some ways he's still a little immature, though he has good instincts. I think Kiara, would actually make a really good Queen. She has the playfulness of Nala, but at the same time, I see the wisdom of characters like Sarabi in her. She's young at the end of the movie, but she's not Queen yet. Simba has a lot of living to do yet.

I think she'd do 'ite, I don't know if she'd ever outgrow her penchant for thinking her life is *tragic* for having to, though, and I don't know about subjecting the Pridelands to all that.

Simba I would really really like to say, but that time spent messing in the jungle with Timon & Pumbaa is bound to put him behind where his father was a bit in training.

So Mufasa. From what we can tell things were good so he must've been doing something right, took it all in stride & loved his family.
