Termites...?

This might be a bit nitpicky, but why does Nuka struggle with termites of all things? I thought termites were wood-eating insects. Wouldn't Nuka have fleas or ticks or anything but termites? Did I miss something?

They lived near a bunch of termite mounds (I think, if that's what they were). So, I don't think they were biting him for food, just that he was walking in places that he shouldn't have been. Like someone falling/stepping on an ant hill...The ants aren't going to be too happy.

Ahhhhh, now I get it. Thanks! It all makes sense now. It just bugs me if there are any discrepancies in the movies, so now I can sleep happy.

You're welcome :3 I'm the same way xD I was wondering the same thing, then realized that they lived in termite territory. I guess he got used to the bites, or learned not to step on their homes when he got older.
