Neo stood on a rock watching his mother walk round Kovu he watched bittly "I should of been picked I wanted to avenge my dad" he thought to himself.

Kovu watched his mother. Answering as he was supposed to. This was the moment he was training for his whole life. This was where he was to take over the pridelands from Simba. He growled low in his throat and padded off. Ready to start his mission. He looked at Neo and thought back to those few weeks when Neo was his best friend and big brother. Those weeks when the rouge lion Nyatui was with them. He saddened as he thought of Simba's betrayal. His mother told him that Nyatui went to try and talk to Simba, help them come to a peaceful resolution. Instead Simba killed Nyatui, an adolescent lion who couldn't hurt him. He lifted his head resoultly and went off to "Save" the princess Kiara.

After a while Neo followed his brother watching him coldly "Kovu am coming too I don't care what you say he killed my only friend apart from you and Nuka" Neo's mane moved in the wind he had devolped a full mane just like his farther Scar. The only exception being he had a long soul patch connecting the mae to his muzzle.

kovu nodded. "Do as you want. But don't get in the way. He may except me, but he won't ever let down his guard with you around."

Nyatui watched the two lions from a distance. What are they doing? he thought, they were headed towards there old practice arena, maybe they were going to fight some more. He trodded silently after them, careful not to make a noise.

Neo nodded coldy before running towards the border crossing it and running into the distance.

Vitani saw Nyatui and tried to quietly sneak up on him but she steapped on a tree branch alearting him.. "Nya....Nyatui"She said her eyes full off tears a solatary tear falling down her face.

Nyatui's eyes opened in surprise. "Vitani?" he asked, staring at the lionesses in front of him. He took a cautious step forward, towards her. "You've, you've changed, You've grown up" he stated still staring at her.

"So have you"she said her fur starting to get wet from tears, "Nyatui we can go we'll leave this place set up our own pride"

"I can't Vitani, I need to watch over your brothers. They're in trouble and confused. If they pick a fight with Simba and his pride, I don't know what we can do to fix it." he said hanging his head. "I missed you."

Vitani immeadtlly ran to him nuzzling into his fur "They're to deep in it Nyatui I've tried and tried Zira's got they're minds warped"

Neo looked towards Kovu "Orders sir"

"Maybe, but I still have to try." He muttered nuzzling her neck. He backed away and looked at the two, "What are they up to today Vitani?" he asked.
