They sensed Yuna was a strong, but gentle lion, like Mufassa. They then bestowed the title of king upon him. It was then that a surprised and humbled Chronicler became Yuna, King of Marshride." Damon finished.

"What happened to sparta?" Kovu asked.

"My mother told me that Sparta and Yuna were locked in a stalemate, last she heard anyway." Damon said, not wanting to get into the details.

Simba yawned. "Well, it is late. Shall we head up to the den for the night?" he said.

Damon thought for a second. "I'd rather sleep out here. I have issures with caves." He said.

Simba looked at the point of Pride Rock. "Why don't you sleep outside of the den. You'll be safer without having to be in the den. By the way, thank you for admitting all of this to me," he said.

"I just didn't want to wake up and find myself carried inside the den." Damon said, curling up. Kovu and Makaila joined Damon, who breaifly looked up to see who they were. It was clear they wanted to sleep with Damon.

Simba looked at them. "Ask your mothers first, you two," he said.

"It's OK Simba." Mema and Uzui said as they laid down next to Kovu and Makaila, where next to damon, but still far enough away so not to make Damon feel confined.

Simba nodded, then looked at Vitani and Kiara. "Girls, I want you to get a good night's sleep. We have a journey ahead of us tomorrow. Do I make myself clear?" he said.

"Yes sir." Nala joked saluting Simba, she chuckled and walked into the den.

Simba acknowledged Nala and looked back at Vitani and Kiara. "Come on. It is now time for you two to get some much-needed sleep," he told them.
