Simba eyes widened upon hearing of someone trying to take Nala as a mate, but was stopped from saying anything by the other two cubs. "Of course I'm sure," he said.

It was then that Mema and Uzuri came to greet the king and queen. "King Simba, are you, the queen and your daughters OK?" They asked when they saw Kovu and Makaila. "Well hello there, what's your names?" Mema asked the two cubs. "I'm Kovu, and I'm Makaila." They said, introducing themselves.

Simba stepped forward. "Uzuri, Mema, these cubs are looking for lionesses to adopt them," he said.

" Will you be our new moms?" Makaila and Kovu asked. " Of course we will." The twin sisters said gleefully as Mema started to nuzzle Makaila and Uzuri did the same to kovu. Kovu was happy he finally had a mom, and Makaila was happy to be treated as a normal cub, not a princess. Damon tried not to look as he walked towards the cave , hoping no one saw the tears in his eyes. He needed to be alone.

Simba began to lead the group up Pride Rock. He looked at the cubs. "As members of this pride, you will also have my daughters as playmates," he told them.

Kovu and Makaila nuzzled Simba, grateful to be part of a Pride. "Thank you Simba, you won't regrat this." Kovu said happily as he and makaila were scooped up. "You two look like your n need of baths, badly." The two new mothers said as their Maternal insticts took over. Both Kovu and Makaila were glad to be bathed as they were being cleaned, they basked in the fact they had loving mothers.

Damon got to Scar's old cave and wet to lay down. He started sobbing in his paws. Seeing Kovu and Makaila's new moms brought up memories of his own mother. The only solace he had from his father's cruelty. He cursed the great spirit for taking her and not Leo. " You said you'd always be here for me, but your not mother, and it's because of me, it's my fault your gone." He sobbed into his paws. Hs pain and greif were all he was left with, he wanted to be part of Simba's pride, wanted to be able to trust him, to confide in him, but he was too ashamed of what he did.

Simba then decided to go check on Damon. He headed over to Scar's cave, hearing the cub sobbing as he entered. "Damon, are you all right?" he asked.

Damon quickly dried his eyes. " Yeah, I'm fine." Damon scoffed, even tough anyone could tell it was a lie.Damon had a feelng Simba was going to push it futher.

Simba stepped closer. "Listen, I can sense that you're upset. Please tell me what's bothering you. Maybe I can help you," he said, hoping it would work.

"Look here Goldie. you may mean well, but my Private affairs are just that, Private. Let me tell you something. As we all go through life we get a long list of memories. If your lucky most will be good, if not, some will be bad. And if your really unlucky, some will be so bad your'll never want to be reminded of them ever again. You'll go somwhere far away to a place that holds no memories for you, there you'll be happy to just forget and be forgotten." Damon said.
