Description:
Mkali is a small, but easily set off lioness. She has long legs, but is rather undersized in general. She is built more for speed rather than strength, and has the look of her mother in many aspects.

Her pelt is a light, golden-honey color. This gives her good camouflage in the yellow grass of the savannah. Her underside, muzzle, and toes are just a lighter hue, a soft cream. Her eye shade is a dark brown top and a light cream bottom, the color of her subpelt. Her inner ears are darker brown like her top eye shading.

Mkali's distinguishing feature is the orange-brown dorsal stripe that runs from her forehead to her tail. The color covers her whole tail, oddly enough, but the tuft keeps its seperate color, a dark brown.

Her eyes are a very pretty light purple-blue, a sort of periwinkle. Her nose is a Pridelander style, a soft pink-gray.

Personality:
Mkali is a simple lioness, or that's what she calls herself. She sees the world as a wonderful place to be, and respects it greatly; taking little and caring for the earth. She is a humane huntress, and even as a cub she rarely tore up plants or killed small creatures for pleasure.

She is a very kind, soulful lioness. Her heart is big and she is always there to lend a paw, whether to her pridemate, a lost cub, or even a grouchy loner. She is a supportive figure, and a loving creature. She hates to cause pain, even for prey, therefore making her efficient. She also is horrified if she must hurt another lion, she despises fighting in all of its forms. She would rather talk it out, even with the most evil lion.

Mkali is smart too, she is patient and understanding. She is hopeful and always looking on the bright side of things, as her name suggests. She is like a sparkling star in the middle of the dark night. A speck of everlasting happiness. She is usually in a cheerful mood, unless something severely bad has happened.

She adores cubs and is a great mother, with all her caring affection. Sometimes, though, she can spoil the young ones by being too forgiving and rewarding. She is a bit oblivious to these issues, seemingly shortsighted and only seeing the good side of someone.

Mkali is not a very skilled fighter, for obvious reasons. She is a bit clumsy and slow when it comes to battling, so unlike her graceful movements otherwise. She has trouble seeing plots and traps and often is tricked and stuck puzzled. This makes her easily teased and bullied, though her sweet nature saved her from most as a cub.
