Well, after this one I need to focus on some other art but my obsession is in full swing. Since I'm on a roll though I went ahead and did this one for the fan artist of the week contest in the forums. Anyways, here's Mufasa and Scar with their reflections in the water showing their cub selves. See I rarely draw adult male lions 'cause I can never get the manes right, so I'm well aware that neither of their manes looks perfect. XD The story on this is more like a question to the fandom: do you think there was ever a period of time when Scar didn't hate Mufasa, or when they actually got a long and played together as cubs do? Did Taka's hatred only start after finding out Mufasa was destined to be king and not him, or was he just always a jerk? Debate away, I find it all so interesting.
