Muroki's answer did not comfort Delano the slightest. "Wh-what do you mean more time?" he whimpered. "They-" he panicked, and jumped back away from Muroki. "They're going to kill me!" He clawed the walls of the cave, as though he might be able to dig himself a hole to escape out of without having to face the guards. The movement was causing a lot of pain in his broken leg, but he was to desperate to care. "They're going to kill me, Muroki!" He repeated, clawing even harder.

Muroki sighed and rolled his eyes, walking over to Delano and stopping him from clawing at the walls some more should the noise somehow upset the guards outside. "What I said is that they put you here in order to buy time so that they can try to find a proof that you're guilty." he made sure to put an emphasis on the 'try'. "What I also said is that they can't hold an innocent lion here forever, which is why we're getting you out of here tomorrow."

Delano stopped clawing the wall and backed away slightly. "Are- are you sure?" he asked quietly. He tried to walk back to the center of the cave, but as he did so, he fell over as he stepped on his broken leg. "But how will you get me out?" he asked after fighting back the pain of his fall. "Why were you not able to get me out sooner than this?.. Why am I still in here?"

Muroki quickly went over to his brother, hoping that his presence next to Delano will somehow ease his pain, even though he doubted the odds. "Like I've said, they don't really have anything against you. While they can't execute an innocent lion, they can hold him for a while if they suspect, but they aren't allowed to imprison him forever." he lay a paw on his brother's shoulder reassuringly. "So there's no reason to worry. Tomorrow this will all be over."

Delano relaxed slightly when he felt Muroki's paw on him. "I hope so," he muttered quietly, "I... hope so." He once again felt exhaustion overtake him and closed his eyes, forgetting about his fear of sleeping. "Do you know how soon tomorrow will come?" he mumbled sleepily, but before he could wait for an answer, he already gave in to his fatigue and fell asleep.

Delano held back a short sigh of relief when Delano finally calmed down somehow, since he didn't like it at all when his brother moved around and clawed at things while having a broken leg. "I can't tell exactly Delano." it was impossible to tell what time it was through the darkness of the cave but Muroki remembered that it was already sunset when he told the others that he'll be staying with Delano tonight, which meant that now it should be already dark at the very least. Soon he realized that he was talking to himself and that his brother was asleep but he wasn't bothered by that because his brother needed all the sleep he could get.

In the den, when Moto woke up he lifted his head up to see if it was time to go yet. He looked outside the den, and while it was mostly still dark, the soft glow of the sun was beginning to take form, signaling that it would soon be sunrise. Yawning, Moto got up to his feet before gently nudging everyone awake. "Alright, wake up. It's time to go," he said. He returned to Fadhili's side and nuzzled her. "Good morning," he told her, "ready for today? It's going to be important for all of us, especially Lina though."

Umeme, who was not used to waking up this early, groaned when she felt Moto nudge her. "Not yet, dad," she moaned, getting another nudge in return. "Alright, I'm up." She wanted to sleep still, but getting up also meant that she would be able to see Muroki again, something she was eager to do.

Lina was a lot quicker to wake up compared to the rest of her family. She was twice as eager to see Delano as Umeme was to see Muroki if not more. She was already getting to her feet as soon as she opened her eyes. She wanted to see him again, it was the only thing she wanted for a long time now, and today she will finally be able to see him. And once that trial was over, he will finally come back home with them and she will never have to leave his side again..

Moto waited until everyone were awake enough to at least start walking. "Alright, let's go," he announced, and lead everyone out the den, "we don't want to be late." He smiled slightly when Lina almost rushed after him.

Umeme was caught off guard by how quickly Lina followed Moto out. "Hey, Lina, wait up!" she said, rushing after her sister. "You're eager to get there, aren't you?" she asked when she finally caught up. "I guess it will be foolish to try and tell you to slow down," Umeme added, grinning slightly.

Kasi followed his parents out the den, feeling somewhat eager. He felt really bad for not being there for his cousins when they needed him, so he wanted to repay that by helping out as much as he can.

Lina didn't slow down even when Umeme called out for her. She looked at her sister with a somewhat forced grin. "Yes, I'm eager. I can't wait to see Delano again." she knew it was pointless to mention that to her sister or to anyone else, but she just had to. Fadhili meanwhile walked silently alongside her mate. She was happy that their family would be fully united today. Mostly she was happy to see Lina happy after such a long time in which she had barely smiled.
