Simba nodded and went into the den, quickly going to where the two new princesses of Pride Rock lay asleep. He smiled with fatherly pride. "Nala, I can tell that they're both going to be great lionesses one day. With you for a mother, they will become mighty huntresses," he said.

"and with you as a father they will become amazing Princess's and have mighty courage." Nala said with a smile.

Simba nodded as he and Nala took the girls back. He helped cuddle Vitani in her mother's paws next to Kiara, then laid down next to them and fell asleep. He awoke early the next morning, just as the sun was starting to rise. Without hesitation, he let out a mighty roar, letting their subjects know that they would meet their new princesses. After sending Zazu to fetch Rafiki, he went back to Nala and nudged her just as she was starting to wake up from the sound of the roar. "Come, Nala, it is time for Vitani and Kiara to be presented," he said.

"Alright alright I'm up." Nala stood and lifted Kiara up in her mouth, Vitani could easily walk behind them since she was a bit older but nala gestured to Simba to carry her so no one would suspect anything.

Simba grabbed Vitani by the nape of her neck and carried her out. At the base of Pride Rock, all the animals of the Pridelands had gathered in response to the king's call. Just then, Rafiki and his apprentice, a young male mandrill named Hodari, appeared. "Greetings, your majesties. Today must be a proud day for you," Rafiki said.

Nala talked through Kiara's scruff, "Very. Thank you Rafiki."

Rafiki nodded. "Well, let us begin," he said. He then began the ritual, which ended with him and Hodari marking the girls with dust. Rafiki took Vitani and Hodari took Kiara. They then held them up for the subjects to view. They all bowed. "It is done," Simba said to Nala.

Timon and Pumbaa watched, Timon's mother and uncle max were also there. "They're adorrible." Timon's mother said as she tickled the two cubs. "Yeah, for vicious meat eaters." Max added to which Timon's mother repsponded by swating him in the back of the head.

Nala chuckled, "Be easy on Max I'm sure he has a valid reason for being so paranoid." Nala said as she pulled him towards her with her paws and whispered something, "Max I'm going to get Simba to go out of the pridelands tonight don't tell Timon or Pumbaa and maybe you can stall them 'till we get back in the morning."

Simba looked over at Nala as the ceremony came to an end, their cubs were returned to them and everyone started to go back home. "Now it is done. The great kings and queens now recognize Vitani and Kiara as the princesses of Pride Rock. It is time for us to return to our lives," he said.
