The blue dog was huddled under her quilt trying to get to some sleep. She could hear her den mate tossing and turning on the mattress in the other side of the room. Finally she heard her sit up, "Sillydog" she whispered, "hey Sillydog, are you awake?"
Sillydog turned over and looked at her hyena friend. "Yes I am Ozy, what is it."
"I'm cold... do you think you could close the window?"
Sillydog sat up and stared at her, "you have more blankets than I do! How are you cold??? Nah, it's staying open because it get's hot in here." She turned over and went under the covers again.
She could almost feel the vibrations of rage coming off her friend and she chuckled a bit. After huffing a bit she heard her speak up again, "Silly... this isn't fair... I'M COLD."
"Well if you're so cold you're welcomed to come keep warm with me," she mumbled.
She heard Ozy huff a bit more before she muttered a 'no way' under her breath and laid back down. A few minutes passed by and she was almost asleep when she heard a rustling from the other mattress again. Soon enough she felt the hyena slide in next to her. Their backs almost touching. Sillydog grinned inwardly, "I knew you'd see it my way..." she said softly. Ozy just snorted at her in response.
Not too long later she was finally falling asleep again. Ozy had fallen asleep a little while before, she could hear her breathing. Just as she was about to drift off though she felt her friend roll over and slide an arm around her. Sillydog had to stifle a chuckle at this. She wrapped her tail around Ozy's and fell asleep.
