Delano let go of Muroki, not knowing what to do. "But I can't... I can't stand it anymore... please... kill me. Make it end..." He continued to beg, wanting to get Muroki to do something. He was so scared and broken that now he really did look at death as something to look forwards to. He placed his head next to Muroki's, almost forcing it into his teeth.

Delano's attempts at shoving his throat into Muroki's mouth were a waste of his time considering the fact that Muroki's mouth was close. "I'm not going to kill you." there was no way for anyone to convince him to do such a thing, not even Delano himself. Muroki didn't care just how hard Delano was going to beg, nor did he pay attention to how pitiful his begging was.

When Muroki refused again, Delano got really angry. "Why not?" He demanded, lifting himself up off the ground. "you don't know what's it's like to have been here for..." He paused, realizing that he didn't know how long he was in the cave for. "You don't know what it's like," he repeated, "and I've had enough... I... I'm done!" He collapsed on the ground again next to his brother, whimpering quietly. "Just kill me already, what are you waiting for?" he whispered, "it's the only thing that can help me now."

Muroki frowned at what Delano was saying. What annoyed him the most was the upset tone he was using. "You're right, I don't know what it's like to be here for even on my own for even an hour." One thing Muroki knew for sure was that if he was in Delano's position, then Delano would also refuse to do something as extreme as take his life. "Just leaving is selfish Delano. Everyone is waiting to see you." he paused for a moment. "And I know that if I was in your position you would refuse to kill me just as I'm refusing to kill you."

If Muroki wanted Delano to give up, Delano wasn't in the right mindset to. "But you're the selfish one!" he said loudly, "you want to keep me around... but I can't! I can't stay, I can't stay here..." He got up suddenly, ignoring the pain in his broken leg. If he could try to escape again, the guards might not have any choice but to kill him. As quickly as he could, really very slowly, Delano began to limp to where he hoped the entrance of the cave was.

Muroki frowned, obviously not in the mood to hear Delano continue with his attempts of persuasion. "Just deciding to end your life and leave everybody waiting for you is selfish. Deciding to just leave Lina is selfish." he frowned once more as he heard Delano get up and walk away slowly. Fearing that he might attempt to make another run for it, Muroki got up and pushed him over. "Don't do something stupid." he knew that Delano would thank him for this one day, but right now his brother was simply confused.

Before Delano could get very far, he was pushed over by Muroki, and found himself trapped underneath his brother, unable to run away. "Let me out!" he cried out, "Get off me!" He continued to struggle, trying to get free, but wasn't strong enough to shove Muroki off. "Please, let me out!" he begged, "Muroki, please... get off..." As he continued to struggle, his anger left him, and Delano once again felt alone and scared.

Slowly, he stopped struggling, and just gave in to lying on the ground. "I'm sorry, Muroki," he whispered after a while, "I just... I don't know what to do. I'm scared..." He found it difficult to breath as he started to realize that just moments before, he was trying to kill himself.

Not only was Delano's broken leg giving him a hard time, but his lack of strength was also the result of not eating or drinking anything for almost three days now. Surely there was that small amount of water the guard kindly gave him, but that certainly wasn't enough and all it did was maybe make Delano's throat feel less dry. "It's okay..." Muroki said, as soothingly as he could, laying himself down beside his brother again and holding him close. "Tomorrow you'll be out of here and this will all be over..."

Delano tried to listen to Muroki, but he was so scared, that the fear was literally chocking him. b]"Muroki..."[/b] he gasped out, fear emanating from his voice, "help!.." He pried himself from his brother and quickly stood up on his feet, hoping that it would make it easier to calm down and breath, but he only fell over tight away. "Help-" he whimpered, not knowing what to do. His breaths came out in short gasps as he struggled against the force his fear was applying on his throat.

Muroki continued to lie still at first, thinking that Delano was simply calling out as if hoping someone will come and get him out of there. Soon he realized what was happening when his brother's breaths began coming out in short gasps. He got up and took a grip of his brother shoulder, "Delano, try to calm down." other than trying to calm him, he didn't know what else to do. He wasn't a healer or anything of the sort.
