"What kind of a question is that?" asked he, looking at Nello.

Nello nervously asked, "Uh well you know with all of the good looking does around...I mean how do you ignore the temptation..."

Ophelia's father simply said, "Just ignore it. Turn your head the other way."

[VitanisMate]

Nello just nodded his head but said, "It's already too late. I didn't ignore it."

Ophelia's father said nothing and they kept walking quietly. Perhaps too quietly.

The buck suddenly whispered, "Keep quiet we are not safe here." Nello then started talking very loudly, "Well you see I also have children too. What am I supposed to do about that?"

Ophelia's father frowned and used one of his legs to cover Nello's mouth. "Keep it down." he said, his voice a whisper.

Nello however couldn't control himself and started laughing very loudly. "I'm sorry it was just the way you said it."

Ophelia's father rolled his eyes. How out of all the deer in the forest was this one still alive, he had no idea. He was about to again tell him to keep it down when he heard gunfire somewhere else, and then a scream, then more and more gunshots combined with the sound of more screams, human screams this time. The terrifying commotion went on for perhaps an entire minute and then the forest was silent. Ophelia's father looked at his father and at Nello, "What was that?" something inside him told him that he wouldn't like finding out.

Nello said, "I dunno. I'm sorry about being stupid."
