[Request] Two Prides, Double the Trouble - OC Prides

The story starts with the Kiburi Pride travelling to find a new territory. The Jabari Pride are doing also, but on the opposite side of the 'perfect place'. They will discover and meet each-other sooner or later. Anything can happen. Do as you please.

Ruzuna stretched in the morning sun and looking around. He was excepted into the Jabari pride and he had to do his duty, so instead of lazing around like he wanted to Ruzuna got up and started scouting out the area. He went farther ahead of his pride than he has been since he was excepted in. He smelled something strange in the wind, something unfamiliar and he decided to go check it out.

Xani, while not on any official patrol business, was nonetheless also strolling about near where the smell came from. He inclined his head that way and frowned curiously. He soon saw Ruzuna come by though and gave him a nod of greeting, deciding to leave it in his paws to figure out whatever this was.

Safa was crouched low within the grass, stalking an antelope that still stood there unmoving. Just a few more steps and she could maybe bring him down herself, wouldn't that be impressive!

With a leap, she jumped...too soon, and startled the creature off. "Aw, darn it all!" she said, sighing, "You jumped to soon, Safa!" he scolded herself, "the thing heard you coming a mile away, I don't know what you were thinking!". She shook her head.

Abla walked up to Safa, "you have to have patience. Without patience you won't be a very good hunter" she gave advice to Safa. "do you mind if I hunt with you? I don't like hunting by myself." Abla said quitley looking at her imploringly.

Ruzuna saw a startled antelope running towards him. "Xani," he called out, "come with me. Something isn't right here. That antelope is spooked... and it wasn't from one of ours... Hyena's or cheetahs may be in the area." he growled, already stalking off in the direction the antelope came from.

Kamaria and Ashanti were chatting away, they had started to follow Abla and Safa, who they presumed had gone out hunting.
"This area is perfect for the Pride", Ashanti said, smiling at Kamaria. The lioness nodded in agreement,
"Yeah, I agree. Anyway, it's up to you if we stay. You are the next leader". She noticed Abla and Safa ahead and grinned, quickening her pace.

Mosi was out, he was patrolling the area as usual. Something he was drummed into doing everyday by his father, who had passed not long ago. He had kept up doing this even though his father was not there to tell him to do it. He spotted Saunda, one of the lionesses of his Pride and approached her,

"Hello, how are you today?", he asked polietly. Saunda, who had just been resting smiled and replied,
"Meh, I'm ok. And you?". Mosi shrugged,
"I'm fine, wondering where everyone is. Probably out hunting or something. I do hope more females join soon, you must be getting lonely". Saunda just grinned, she liked being in the company of males, she didn't mind.

"I know!" Safa sighed, "That's my problem, I just get so impatient and...jump". She smiled at Abla's question, though, "Well of course you can! And having someone else to hunt with will probably help me too" she admitted.

Xani nodded, "Well alright, wasn't sure if I should let you handle it or not, but I'll come" he bounded after the other lion.

Abla kept looking behind her. "hey Safa, is it just me or do you feel like someone is following us?" she asked in a whisper. Abla was hoping it was people from her own pride, not hyena's, or god forbid a cheetah.

"Come along then and hurry. whatever scared that antelope should be moving away too." Ruzuna growled low, so that only Xani could hear... "actually, you're fast, go get Mosi or Saundra, and come meet me, follow my scent trial. We'll probably need the back up."

Prince Ali walked out of the den and started looking for his friends. "Hey guys, I hope you planned on waiting for me," the magnificent, handsome young male lion called out.

"Following us...". Safa knew that turning was probabaly the last thing she should do if this was the case, but she couldn't help it and turned about a bit, scanning.

She didn't see anything, but thought she could smell only others of their pride. "I...I think it's alright..." she said, but didn't call out just incase.

Xani simply nodded and turning, raced back to their temporary territory the Jabari were using. He spotted both Mosi and Saundra and rushed up.

"Mosi. Saundra. We may have an issue, possibly hyena or other nearby" he informed, of course semi-curtly, yet was still polite enough to address both and not just Mosi.

(are y'all teasing slightly with all these cheetah comments hehe)

Abla nodded, knew some one was following them, and smelled her pridemates on the wind, but she had a sense of foreboding. That something bad will happen. shaking her head she focused on the hunt. Her stomach was growling, and was looking forward to eating. seeing a herd of zebras up ahead she nudged Safa, and got into a hunting croach, ready to attack. she crept forward slowly, signaling for Safa to do the same.

Ruzuna saw a herd of Zebra's ahead. his stomach started to rumble and he wondered when he last hunted. shaking himself he put himself back into a hunting mind, something was wrong, and he had to get to the bottom of it.
