Once again, Delano didn't have an answer. "I don't know," he muttered, "I don't know what I did or did not do... I can't remember..." He tensed, trying to clear his mind, but found it impossible to figure out what was real and what was not. "Everything's all just a blur..." He hesitated, unsure. "I can't tell what's real anymore." He finally said.

Muroki sighed, again trying to calm his brother down. "Well, you can trust me when I say that she's alive and unharmed. And after we get you out tomorrow you'll be able to see her again." if that didn't cheer his brother up, then Muroki had no other idea on how to lighten up his mood. But he hoped that Delano would at least go back to normal once they got him out.

Delano nodded slowly. He at least trusted Muroki enough to rely on him to keep track of reality. "Well, even if that's true then..." he said, "I still don't think she will like me. I..." He stopped as shame prevented him from talking for a moment. "I mean, I can't even walk right now... I tired to stay strong for her... but I couldn't do it..." He felt tears again form over his eyes. "I couldn't stay strong for her," he repeated, "it was too much..."

Muroki sigh, "Like you? Delano she loves you more than anything, you're her entire world." who knew how Lina would react upon hearing Delano speak like that? "It doesn't matter now anyway, since we're getting you out first thing tomorrow, and then this will all be finally over alright?" suddenly he wandered about Delano's broken leg. Will it be able to heal on its own if at all?

As much as Delano wanted to believe Muroki that everything will be fine, he couldn't feel it. "But what if she will hate me?" He asked, "what if she sees me as I am now, and will hate me?" The though was so bad, he almost couldn't bear to think about it. "I won't be able to handle losing her. Not again. Not now... Especially not now."

Muroki let out another sigh, "She won't hate you." seeing Delano the way he was now might get her extremely worried about his well being, but there was no reason for it to cause her to hate him all of a sudden. "You will not lose her okay? You're going to see her again tomorrow and then you'll be together again." he wished there was some way he could guarantee all of this, but he doubted there was.

"But what if you're wrong?" Delano asked, feeling desperate to know what he was going to look forwards to, not realizing that he was searching for the wrong answers. "What will happen if Lina will in the end hate me?" He wanted to reach out and hold onto Muroki tightly, but wasn't able to do so. "How do you know she won't leave me?" He finally asked.

To Muroki it seemed like the only way to convince Delano would be to have Lina herself talk to him, but that wouldn't be a posibility until they got him out tomorrow. "Because I spoke to her yesterday and the day before that," he started, reminding him that he could see Lina unlike Delano himself. "She's very worried about you, and she can't wait to be with you again. That's how I know."

Delano let Muroki's words sink into him, an finally began to understand that Lina wouldn't hate him. That was what he understood, but he still felt like sh might abandon him. He wasn't able to voice this, so he simply reached out with a paw for Muroki, trying to bring his brother closer to him without having to move much.

Muroki had to hold back from letting out a huge sigh of relief when his brother finally decided to listen to him and stop talking nonsense. He knew that his brother would be completely reassured of this once he saw Lina again, that is as long as she didn't end up smothering him as a result of excitement. Feeling Delano reach out with his paw and remembering Delano's broken leg, Muroki went ahead and inched closer to his brother, making sure not to touch his bad leg in the process.
