Mother nature made us omnivores so I cant see a reason for myself not to be one. Simple biology and instincts are enough for me

Anyway, vegetarianism does not appeal to me at all. I doubt many carnivores grieve for the meat they eat, so why should we? Besides, plants are living creatures too. And it's not like the animal won't be gobbled up by another hungry animal if we don't get to it first. Nature is cruel - deal with it.
Yeah I get what you mean!! I can't help but think that everything has feelings. But yeah i don't know. We must eat and so does everything else I guess!! :) But i do not want to continue eating meat.
As far as I'm concerned, your doing animals an injustice by not eating meat. The few vegetarians out there aren't going to make a lasting impression on the meat industry, and the demand of meat isn't going to drop, because the general mass isn't going to stop eating meat because they think it's wrong. Those animals are still going to be killed, the only difference is, when you don't eat them, they died in vain.

A few people aren't going to make a lasting impression, on an industry that produces thousands of jobs in an Economy that is in really bad shape. If we got rid of it, all we'd be doing is pushing our Economy further downhill.

Oh don't worry I know that I will not make a lasting impression on the meat industries. I guess it is more of a moral thing. I just feel really bad when I think of the animals that are killed and people don't think twice when they eat a piece of ham. We don't think of what that animal went through to get there. I know animals don't have the same intelligence as humans or the types of emotions we do. But sometimes it is difficult to not think that they do. My dogs seem to and even my fish to some extent!!! :P

Actually, there is a very distinct possibility of having a deficiency in certain necessary vitamins when removing meat from your diet. Particularly vitamin B6 and B12. They certainly exist in foods outside of meat, but not in amounts that is at all realistic for the standard vegetarian diet. That's why most vegetarians take some type of multivitamin or other to balance out the lack.

It's certainly not as simple as, "Oh! Meat gives you protein; and you need that!", but having meat in one's diet is, from a medical standpoint, the optimal way to go without additional assistance from things like multivitamins. This shouldn't discourage someone from wanting to be a vegetarian to take a personal stand against the meat industry (it really is pretty messed up), but a lot of research needs to go into a choice like that, as for humans, it quite literally isn't natural.

That is not really useful.
