I think it would be a couple of months difference at the most. Kovu did seem a little older.

My guess is no more than 6 months. When they first met, Kiara was probably about a year old, and Kovu was maybe 12-16 months old.

I would like to point out that even if there was an age difference it wouldn't be by more than a few months.
