When You Need To Move On (DGFone and VitanisMate)

Frank at first thought of letting Zazu chase after the cubs alone, but then chose to be kind and help the bird out. He took off running after the cubs, just being able to keep up with them without letting get further away.

Vitani and Kopa ran as fast as they could, and Vitani found it hard to keep running at their pace. But she didn't want to let Frank catch her and to let down Kopa, so she kept running.

Nala remembered the day she and Simba wanted to go to the elephant graveyard, only succeeding by dropping a rhino on Zazu. "Yeah, Kopa's kinder."

Suddenly Kopa tripped and fell down, with Frank immediately above him as Kopa did a nervous laugh, "We weren't going anywhere Frank. We were just playing, honest."

Simba nodded, "Yes. Kopa I hope is also wiser and knows that to never go outside of the Pridelands."

Vitani saw Kopa trip, and quickly turned around to try and help him up, but by that time Zazu and Frank were upon them. "Heh, hi!" She said, smiling innocently.

Frank slowed to a stop next to Kopa and Vitani, grinning. "Yeah, you can keep telling yourself that," he said, "but I think it would be a good idea for you two to come back home. Before a certain somebody finds out what you two were up to..." His grin widened. "A certain two parents..." He watched Kopa gulp nervously and motioned towards Priderock with his head. "Go on, off you go."

Nala laughed at Simba's comment. "He may be wiser, but I think he is still just as bold," she said, "Don't get it past your head that he won't go somewhere where he isn't supposed to. I think he will."

Simba said, "I said I would hope he is wiser meaning that I am putting my hopes in Kopa to do the right thing." Suddenly Zazu led Kopa and Vitani to Simba, "My lord Kopa was trying to escape me and go outside of the Pridelands." Simba immediately became angry and said, "Kopa! You disappoint me my son." Kopa shrank from guilt and embarassment. Simba said, "Well Kopa that's it. There will be no more exploring for you. You are to stay at Pride Rock at all times." Zazu then said, "My lord the lion Frank helped me get Kopa before he could hurt himself." Simba smiled at Frank, "My friend! For helping Zazu make sure my son could not get hurt you are most welcome here! Stay as long as you like!"

Frank found it odd how quickly Simba seemed to change his mind about him. And all because he helped get his son in trouble... More and more Frank felt like an outsider who doesn't belong in this world, and more and more wished to be back at home, his regular, understandable human world.

Not wanting to show that he felt bad, Frank simply nodded at Simba and turned to walk away. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he said, and walked back down Priderock. He remembered the large tree where he first met that monkey, and decided to go there. It was time he and that crazy monkey had a serious chat.

Kopa immediately went back into the den as that same cub went up and laughed at him, "HA! Look who has to be the baby now you dork!" He looked at Vitani, "Well Vitani, Kopa's not going anywhere so why don't you and me go do some exploring without Kopa hmm?"

Simba meanwhile looked at Nala, "I didn't mean to sound harsh to Kopa but he could have been hurt if he succeeded on making it outside the Pridelands. My father gave me the same talk."

Meanwhile Rafiki suddenly popped out of a tree and looked at Frank, "Oh what are you doing here?! You need to go back there with them."

Vitani once again felt her anger at the cub rise up. "Yeah, well you know what? At least while I was with Kopa it was fun! I don't think you even know what that means!" She went back to Kopa's side. "You know, there has to be something we can do while still being stuck here."

Nala nodded as she again recalled the day she and Simba ran off to the Elephant graveyard. "Well, maybe you can try explaining it to him," she suggested, "and preferably sometime soon, because he looked rather hurt." She licked Simba. "I'm not saying what you did was wrong, but I don't think Kopa fully gets it yet, and so I think you should talk to him."

Frank heard the monkey and nearly lost his temper. "No, I'm not doing that!" He shouted back. "Not until I get a few answers from you! Straight answers!"

The cub frowned as Vitani moved closer to Kopa and threatened, "I'm going to have to ask you move away from Kopa or he's going to get in more trouble."

Simba nodded and smiled at his mate, "I'll go ahead and do that now. I don't want Kopa to be depressed."

Rafiki said, "Well my lion friend what kind of answers do you want?"

Vitani crouched down, preparing for a fight. "No. You move or get in a lot more trouble. From me." She growled threateningly, trying to show that she meant what she said. But it also meant that she didn't notice Simba walk in at that moment.

Frank's jaw dropped. He didn't actually get around to thinking how he could ask the questions he wanted to without sounding crazy or like an idiot. "Alright, let's start with what you know," he said calmly, "about me. I find myself in the middle of this savanna and the first living creature I meet is you. And you start babbling like you knew me for years. So... did you? And if not, what do you know?"

Kopa however saw his father and nudged Vitani, "No Vitani it's alright." Suddenly Simba came up to his son, "My son I wasn't trying to hurt you with what I said, I just care about you. I only want you not to get hurt and for you to be safe." Kopa tried to smile, still shaken up, "Okay dad."

Rafiki however just said, "I have not known you for years. What I do know is just guessowork," just brushing off Frank's question.
