Aza jumped at the sudden pressure on her shoulder. She whirled around and saw a big male lion grinning at her. Aza backed away slowly, shaking in fear.

Abla watched her sons run off to play with their friends, and she thought to herself, " Oh, how they are growing up so quickly. Soon they will be able to leave and start their own pride. I'm going to miss them so much!"

Benedict roared with laughter. "Vell vell vell vhat do ve have here." He grinned evily. "Vhat are you doing here veakling."

"Hey, Akila!" Ibadah greeted.
"Hey, Ibadah!" Akila replied. She was being washed by her mother, Marini.
"Want to come play with me?" he asked.
"I'm kind of in the middle of a bath right now."
"Oh." Ibadah somehow didn't notice Marini washing her. He must have been too focused on playing with her.
Marini looked up from washing Akila. "You can go play now." she encouraged.
Akila got up and walked over to Ibadah. "So, what are we doing?" she asked.
"I want to go explore some forbidden territory." Ibadah whispered in her ear.
Akila took a step back, then thought about how much fun it might be to check out more of the areas with Ibadah. "Okay!" she agreed. "Let's go!"
The two ran off and went to some of the dark areas.

The wildebeest began moving, for some reason. Oh well, it was entertaining while it lasted, Awali figured. He'd just head back to the dens and get some rest.

"I'm not weak" Aza growled, angry that everyone underestimated her. "I'm strong and will be a mighty huntress someday." She said proudly, not understand that this lion is a threat to her.

Benedict gave her a wolfish grin. "Oh really." He then poked her hard in the chest. "Prove it."

Aza growled at the unknown lion confused. why did he want her to fight him? shrugging and looking forward to having fun she launched herself at his neck.

Benedict yelpled loudly, it didn't hurt him, hardly but he was so shocked by the attakc, he thought he could just bully her into submission, soon he started shouting. "GET OFF ME GET OFF ME SCHVEIN HUND!"

Almost to the dens, Awali noticed some cubs fighting a large, male lion. He began running to help, shouting "Hey, leave them alone!" the whole way.
