Delano was able to feel Muroki lose his demeanor, and knew that something was wrong. "Muroki..." Then he realized what was wrong. "If you need to go... I won't stop you," Delano whispered. He didn't want Muroki to leave, but there was only so much that he could delay the inevitable. "Tell everyone that I'll be alright... That I'll try making it through." But as he said this, he subconsciously grabbed Muroki into a deep hug, not as a goodbye, but as to make it harder for Muroki to leave.

Muroki sighed, "I do need to go at some point." he didn't want Delano to know just how horrible Lina was feeling at the moment, so he tried to not make it too obvious. "Lina has to at least know that you're alright." he didn't know whether he should leave now or later, but seeing as Delano was already anticipating it, Muroki figured that the longer he stayed now the harder it will for Delano once he would actually decide to leave. "I'll come see you again tomorrow, I promise. And I'll think of something." despite that, he didn't move and returned his brother's hug.

Delano lessened his grip on Muroki. If his brother wanted to leave, then he couldn't stop him. "I'll miss you..." he whispered, preparing himself for another long period of loneliness. His paws fell from Muroki, freeing his brother. "Please, get me out." He didn't know how to express how hard it was to be alone, so he simply told Muroki this one simple phrase, letting his brother know how desperate he was to leave in any way possible.

Muroki sighed, "I'll miss you too." he felt Delano's paws fall from him and, despite how much he didn't want to, got to his feet. He could only try to imagine what it was like to be in Delano's position, but even trying to imagine gave him the creeps. "I will get you out." he said, knowing that he wouldn't forgive himself if he failed. After a few moments, he turned and left slowly. He wanted to find Moto and to ask him whether he had achieved anything since they got here, but remembered Moto's order to not look for him. Instead, Muroki left the tunnels and headed home, again empty handed.

Delano felt Muroki leave the cave, and crawled back to the far end. Once again he was alone in the pitch blackness, and it took all his effort not to cry out in fear. Now that Muroki had left, there was no one who could or even would help him. As much as he feared the darkness, and falling asleep again, he was too tired to stay awake. Dreading another nightmare, Delano closed his eyes, and fell into an uneasy sleep.

Muroki was kind of hoping to see Moto on the way, so to maybe have Moto tell him some good news, but no such luck. He didn't seem him while making his way out of the tunnels or on the way back. Like he anticipated, Lina, Umeme and their mother were waiting for him. He went over knowing that the news he carried were not as bad as yesterday's news. "Delano's alright." he said, meaning it in the physical aspect. "Moto's still there, he's trying to find information that might help us get Delano out." Lina didn't break into tears this time. In fact she seemed relieved to know that Delano was alright, but that still didn't change the fact that they were running out of time. All they could do now was wait for Moto to arrive back and hope that the worst was over.

Umeme was sitting with Fadhili next to Lina, waiting for Muroki to come back. She scanned the horizon yet again, not really expecting to see him. But when her eyes fell on him making his way towards them, she sat up straighter, feeling relieved. "Look, Muroki's back!" She announced.

She rushed over to him, giving him a nuzzle to show how much she missed him. Like Lina, she was relieved to hear that Delano was alright, but she was more relived to see that her sister took the news well this time. "So dad will sort it all out?" She asked Muroki, "That's why he left with you?" She looked at Muroki and Fadhili for an answer.

Muroki returned Umeme's nuzzle. "Yes, Moto went there to try and sort it all out." he said, Fadhili nodded. Muroki hated thinking that he'd still be feeling as lost in the beginning if it weren't for Moto who decided to try to help. To be honest he had no idea what to do in case Moto was unable to do anything. Things were looking better compared to yesterday though, and all four seemed to be grateful for that. "He told me to come straight here after seeing Delano and not look for him, so I guess we'll need to wait for him to come back."

Umeme nodded, and went back to Lina's side with Muroki. "I think dad know what he's doing," she said, "otherwise he wouldn't have gone with you there." She smiled and placed a paw on Lina's shoulder. "You hear that, Lina? We're going to get Delano out."

Because Muroki didn't tell them how bad Delano was really like, she didn't know to be worried. Instead, she felt like something was finally going right in this mess, and that it would soon be over.

Lina smiled at what Umeme said, feeling better than she felt yesterday. Her father probably did know what he was doing, so this just might be the end of this horror. It was still unknown to all of them that Moto was actually the one responsible for the fact that Delano was now in prison and in the danger of being sentenced to death. Fadhili was also relieved to see that her daughter was in a better mood now. Hopefully her mate would be back soon after accomplishing something, since they would all be happy to hear some good news for a change.
