Renee sighed "sorry" she said "can i go play?"

"Yes. But stay away from the barren lands!" Vitani replied, then went back into the den, leaving Renee alone.

Renee wandered off she wanted to find a cub to play with.

Hakara stepped out of the den. "Vitani, I feel uneasy right now. I'm going to go patrol the territory," he stated.

"Okay, Hakara. Be careful." Vitani replied, then watched over the new lioness. "Is there anything we could do for you?" she asked. Marini saw her chance and dashed out of the den and followed Renee's trail.
"Hey, Renee." Marini greeted once she was by Renee's side. "Come follow me. I have a perfect idea of where we could practice hunting."

Renee looked back and smiled "okay" she said then folding her ears back "should we go tell mother first?"

"No. She knows that I'm with you, so there should be no problem." Marini said. Except for your deaths. she thought wickedly to herself. "Now, come on. Let's hurry."

Renee smiled "okay!" she said following her "i will be much better as i caught my first hunt, you know that mouse"

"Yes, I know." Marini replied. Shortly after, they reached the waterfall. "Now, watch and learn." Marini said. A fish jumped up out of the river below, and caught the fish. "Now you try." she encouraged.
