When You Need To Move On (DGFone and VitanisMate)

Frank couldn't help but smile at Kopa's energy as the cub showed him around. He was rather surprised at how similar these lions lived as a family compared back when he was a human. He followed Kopa back into the den, and also saw Vitani, right away noticing the change in Kopa's demeanor. He pretended not to notice Kopa blushing, visible despite all the fur.

Vitani looked up at Kopa when she heard him enter. She quickly jumped up to her feet, and was about to rush over to her friend when she saw Frank behind him. "Hey Kopa!" she said, "who's that?" She eyed Frank curiously, but walked over to Kopa anyways.

Kopa smiled at Vitani but this time it wasn't a nervous smile but a smug one, "Oh hey Vitani! This is Frank! He's a newcomer here and wanted me to show him around you know?" He then said, "Uh he'll be here a few days so maybe we can all be friends right Frank?"

Meanwhile Simba looked at Nala and asked her a question, "Do you think Kopa will be alright wth Frank? I know I should trust Rafiki but something about Frank seems a little off and it is making me nervous to tell you the truth..."

Frank looked down at Kopa. "I don't see why not?" He replied. "Seeing as I am going to be stuck here for a few days, I don't think I'll stick to myself all the time." He still wanted to search for anything that will help him get back, but he didn't want to alienate himself from the lions here.

Nala smiled at Simba. "Rafiki trusts Frank, and I trust Rafiki. I think you don't have to worry." She smiled at her mate. "You know, I think that monkey knows something we don't. You can try asking him about it."

Kopa then looked at Vitani, "Uh what do you want to do?" Suddenly there was a loud noise like thunder as the noise entered the breeze and Kopa whispered to Vitani, "It's Man." Suddenly he looked at Frank and said, "Man is a...he kills us for no reason." Suddenly a lion said, "Shut up!"

Simba nodded at Nala and said, "I will ask Rafiki right now." Suddenly however he heard the sound and said, "Keep still."

Frank heard the noise, that of an airplane engine, and therefore wasn't afraid of it. If anything, he felt his spirits rise and he edge closer to the entrance of the den to where he can look at the sky. He quickly spotted the twin engine plane as it flew overhead. Seeing it gave him hope that he was somewhere close by to some human settlement that he might try going to.

Hearing Kopa's description, Frank quickly recalled the common joked humans make of how bad they are to the world, and realized that in this case it wasn't funny. "How often does that happen?" he asked, "people coming here and killing things?"

Nala smiled at Simba, but her smile disappeared as soon as she heard the thunderous noise. She quickly turned to where she saw Kopa and Vitani huddled inside the cave, at the same time seeing Frank looking perfectly calm despite the noise. Despite what she said just moments before, she felt distrust rise up at the lion.

Kopa noticed Frank's question, "Oh well it depends. Sometimes people will come here and actually kill animals for food just like lions but sometimes they'll just kill us and smile about it as if it was a game." Suddenly a lion cub came up to Vitani, "Hey Vitani. Hey what do you say we dump this dork Kopa and go do something huh?"

After Simba was sure the noise stopped he headed towards Rafiki, "Rafiki this lion..." Rafiki however waved his arms to silence him, "Hush Simba. Trust old Rafiki. This lion will be of no harm to you." Simba then asked, "Why does he seem different." Rafiki said, "He's not from around here."

Frank nodded, glad to hear that that humans in this area were not all bad. He was about to say something else when he head a new cub approach Vitani.

Vitani glared at the cub. "Kopa is not a dork!" She growled, "He's my friend, and you better remember it!" She jumped at the cub, tackling him and wanting to regret calling Kopa a dork, ignoring her friend's protests at her actions. What she didn't count on was Frank pulling her away from the cub.

Not knowing whether it was a good idea to interfere or not, Frank reached out and separated Vitani and the cub. "That's enough, you two," he said firmly. "What was that all about?" He found it slightly weird at how quickly the lions went from scared stiff to normal again.

Nala felt reassured at how Rafiki was calm about Frank. But now she wanted to know if her suspicions were real or not. "Um, Rafiki?" She asked, "You seem to know a lot about Frank... How much do you really know?"

Suddenly the cub's father poked at Frank's shoulder until Frank turned around, and it was at that time, the cub's father smacked him across the face, "You leave my son alone. He is right that Kopa is a dork. Now let him play with Vitani." Kopa blushed that all of this attention simply happened because the cub showed up, "No really Vitani it's alright. I uh...you can go play with someone else."

Rafiki pretended to not know much, "Oh I only know a little I'm afraid. Just think of it as good old Rafiki having a good feeling about this new lion. Simba may you please send this lion to me so we may know of his motives." Simba nodded, "Of course Rafiki."

Frank was shocked to say the least when the cub's father hit him. He rubbed his cheek with a paw where he was hit, but Frank chose not to say anything. If this is how lions worked here, then he better get used to it. Feeling annoyed, he backed away out of the den, leaving the others alone. He might even leave this place early if he wants to.

Vitani frowned. "But I wanted to spend time with you," she told Kopa, "Until he arrived." She narrowed her eyes at the cub.

Nala chose to let Simba get Frank and watch from afar. Even though Rafiki claimed that he was simply relying on his own instincts, she always thought of him as slightly odd, and still thought that he knew more than the monkey was letting in.

Simba then noticed Frank but frowned when he saw Kopa was not with him, "Where's my son?! You left him alone! What have you done with him!"

Kopa again blushed a little when Vitani said she wanted to spend some time with him. Suddenly the other cub spoke up, "Oh well why don't we all do something together. What do you say Vitani?" Kopa obviously not noticing the bad intent of what the cub was saying and said, "Oh that sounds like a great idea. What do you say Vitani?"
