I've never watched Hercules either but I kind of feel sorry for Scar because he ended up being skinned and used as a throw rug :sad:

I always thought it was pretty clever myself. :B

I am also *still* ignorant of the actual mythology behind Hercules, because that sort of stuff never really interested me, so I enjoyed and still enjoy the movie in its entirety quite a bit. It was one of my favorite movies growing up.

i think its more a reference than a joke. but anyway i thought that TLK is better by FAR than Hercules, who was pretty good too, but not epic as TLK.
yes TLK is and will be my favorite movie forever

I didn't think it was funny simply because I really liked Scar, and though it is a seemingly clever reference, to me it's kind of like making a joke at a funeral or something like that, as ridiculous as that sounds. Anyhow, I didn't find it funny.

I just watched the Hercules movie for the first time in years (last week) and when it twigged that was scar I found it hilarious!

I remember that! It is very clever but I can also see how it's offensive to Scar fans. I'm not a fan of animals being used as trinkets and throw rugs in reality so it's not very funny to me either. It's a clever reference, though! Poor Scar :sob:
