Before long, they were out on the savannah. "So, Vitani, what made you decide that you were ready to have your own cubs?" he asked.

"Well, I just loved watching Renee always play around, and when you let Safi stay with us, she started talking about what it was like being pregnant, and she thought I'd been through it, seeing Renee. That's when I started wanting to ask you, but didn't get the chance." Vitani explained.

Hakara smiled. "Well, the time is right. We can go through with it whenever you wish," he said.
