Gracie knew what she meant, she stood up and stretched her hind legs.
"We need to get moving, for all we know, this could be a pride's territory. If it is, then we need to go ask them if we can join", she told Shani, speaking quietly. She went over to Chaka and nudged him slightly,

"C'mon little guy, time to get up". Chaka mrowed and rolled over, smiling tiredly at his mother. He got up and gave a big yawn and stepped out of the cave,
"Morning Mom, morning Shani".

"Morning Chaka", Gracie replied, smiling at him. "There's some left overs from yesterday over there", she said, tilting her head in the direction it was in, "I suggest you two eat something, we'll be walking again today".

Shani would normally prefer to stay in one area and play all day but she didn't have any complains this time. As long as they were moving farther and farther away from Roark. "Alright mom." she said, walking over whatever was left from her mother's last hunt and starting to eat.

[OOC: Mheetu will be the ones to discover them as they move closer to the pride. They will pass a large lake first though]

Chaka would of complained, but both the thought of moving away from Roark and being able to meet new lions made him just nod and go and have a bite to eat. Gracie was surprised, but shrugged her shoulders and waited for her cubs to have their full. She picked up a remain leg of the wildebeest and ate that to herself, knowing that there would be enough to satisfy the cubs.

Shani was again satisfied at being able to have her full fill, even thought most of the good parts were eaten by them yesterday. With Roark around they were never able to fully satisfy their hunger even once, so now that there was enough food she didn't care whether it was the good part of the meat or not, nor did it matter to her that the kill wasn't fresh.

Chaka licked his lips once he was done and padded his way over to his mother, who had also finished. She smiled at him and picked him up, placing him in her arms so she could groom him.
"Mom! Mom! Get off!", he moaned, struggling to get away from his mother's tongue grooming him. Gracie ignored him and chuckled, waiting for her daughter to finish as she groomed her son.

Shani was finished eating as well after a few more moments. She looked at her brother's pointless struggle and rolled her eyes. Unlike male cubs, female cubs never complained when their parents decided to give them a bath. She sat there patiently, waiting for her bathing turn to come. Watching her brother protest to their mother's grooming was always an amusing site. Whenever Gracie was done with him he would act like a clean lion who just got himself covered in mud.

Gracie let Chaka hop out of her arms once she was done. He flattened down his growing mane tuft with his paw and huffed.
"And don't get dirty, you need to keep clean if we're going to meet a new pride!", she said to him, giving him a look he knew, that 'Don't you dare disobey me' look. He huffed again and sat down. Gracie smiled at her daughter and didn't say anything, she knew she'd come over and get groomed without being asked.

Shani was already making her way towards her mother the second her mother was done with Chaka. "Yes Chaka, you can't get dirty this time." now his brother would have no excuse if he got himself dirty on purpose. She literally went ahead and jumped into her mother's arm. Her brother probably never understood how his sister could be so excited by baths, but Shani never really cared.

Chaka gave his sister a glare, but he always would cheer up after a while. Gracie began grooming her daughter, noticing the scars and bruises she had. Her brother had about just as many. It was in the past, they would heal, but maybe the emotional feelings wouldn't. Gracie shook the the thought of Roark out of her head and carried on grooming. Soon, she was done.

"C'mon on then, lets go", she said happily to her cubs, as she began walking, Chaka and Shani behind her. She saw a huge lake in the distance, and unknown to her, she was crossing a pride's territory.

Somewhere on the other side of the lake and in an actual pride's territory, a male named Mheetu who was about the same age as Gracie was on a regular morning patrol. Being the pride's leader, he always had to keep an eye out for danger. It could be tiring and boring, seeing as mostly nothing ever happened, but it was his responsibility. After Gracie and her cubs crossed the river and entered the territory, Mheetu noticed them. Lionesses with cubs were usually always part of a pride, considering that it was rare that a lioness would allow herself to get pregnant when she was without the security of a pride. There was also the posibility that the father of those cubs was somewhere around, and since Mheetu was not aware of any lion from his pride having cubs with a rogue lioness, then that meant that this lion could be hostile. Mheetu approached the three, who didn't seem to have noticed him, before making his presence know. "Hello there." Upon hearing his voice, Shani yelped and hid behind her mother.
