Umeme leaned up, returning the kiss Muroki gave her. Already, she forgot about the bet and was simply enjoying being with Muroki. "It's good to see them together again," she said, referring to Lina and Delano. "It was really saddening to see them yesterday. But today it's like nothing even happened." She tried looking over her shoulder for the kill, but couldn't lift her head high enough to see it. "Where did you leave the kill, by the way? We should bring it over to them before someone else get to it."

Moto grinned. "That sounds like a solid plan," he said to Fadhili. "You know, I think the grass over there looks slightly nice than here..." He couldn't really care less, but it was an excuse to go and walk with his mate.

Muroki chuckled, "I know. I was really worried about them both yesterday..." he went ahead slightly lessened his grip on Umeme a little so that she could have a bit more freedom of movement and a bigger line of sight, even though he too had already forgotten about their bet. "You're right, we should do that." he said, looking over to where he dropped the kill before releasing Umeme and getting off of her. It just happened that they both got up at the same time. "Alright, let's go fetch it."

Fadhili looked over at the grass as if considering it. "Well, it does look greener, and it is taller." she stood there and stared at the grass for a moment before letting out a chuckle, "Okay." she didn't really care where they went. As long as she was with her mate, they could even go to the middle of a dessert for all she cared.

Umeme followed Muroki back to the kill and picked up one end of it while he grabbed the other. Together, they brought it over to Lina and Delano, who only seemed to notice them once they dropped the kill. "Hey, look what we got this morning," Umeme told Lina, smiling brightly, "we saved it for you guys. We already ate."

Delano was so busy lost in his thoughts and just being in the presence of Lina that he almost jumped when he heard a loud thump next to him. He quickly turned and saw Umeme and Muroki next to a fresh wildebeest kill. "You two got this? All by yourselves?" he asked, genuinely surprised, "How did you manage it?" He looked at Lina, waiting for her to take the first bite before he would.

Moto walked next to Fadhili, smiling. "You know, as they always say: the grass is always greener on the other side." He quickly nuzzled her in mid-stride, "but with you around, I couldn't really care less about what the grass is like."

Muroki smiled at Lina and Delano, "Oh, it was Umeme mostly, I just chased it towards her." he knew that Umeme deserved most of the credit, so that's what he gave her.
Lina smiled at them both, "Thanks guys, that's really nice of you." she looked at Delano and, upon seeing his look, realized that he was waiting for her to take the first bite. She gave her sister and brother-in-law another thankful smile before starting to eat.

Fadhili chuckled, "They say that?" she shrugged and nuzzled him in return, not really caring about how the grass actually looked. "Since when does anybody care about what the grass is like?" she asked rhetorically as the two began walking through the tall grass. Suddenly she nudged her mate's shoulder with her muzzle, "Let's see you find me." she giggled and broke into a run, hiding somewhere in the grass.

Umeme rolled her eyes at Muroki's comment, pretending to be offended, when she really wasn't. "I wasn't the only one who caught it. You chased it towards me, remember?" She then gave him a quick lick. "But thanks anyways."

Once Lina began eating, Delano also leaned down and tore into the meat. it was only then when he realized how hungry he was, which made him even more grateful for Muroki and Umeme for catching the wildebeest and bringing it to them.

Moto smiled to himself when Fadhili disappeared into the grass. "Well, I don't really know why they comment on the grass," he said, "but I can still see you," he then purposefully turned around in order to give his mate a better head start, and called out, "so you better get as far as you can before I get bored, because I will get to you!"

Muroki chuckled, "I'm sure you would have caught it without me chasing it towards you." he smiled sheepishly as she licked him before licking her back, "You're welcome." meanwhile a few feet away from them Lina and Delano carried on eating. Muroki was able to resist the urge for a short while but eventually her lost control and tackled Umeme to the ground once more, holding her close and nuzzling her.

Fadhili frowned playfully, "Oh no, I'm so in for it now." she giggled and went over to him, "Tell you what, if you find me quickly enough, I'll do anything you say. If not, then you'll have to do something I want." Liking her idea, she went ahead and hid herself at a more far away and more hidden spot.

Umeme let out a playful yelp when Muroki tackled her to the ground again. She returned his nuzzle before rolling over so that the two of them were on their sides and facing each other. "You are so unpredictable sometimes," she whispered, smiling, "but I like that in you."

Moto waited until he could no longer hear his mate before turning around. He right away went over to where he last saw her and stopped, searching for her scent. "Don't you remember, my Fadhili?" He called out, "you can never hide from me!" Catching her scent, Moto grinned to himslef as he began to follow it.

Muroki chuckled, holding Umeme close. "Yeah, I am unpredictable..." he said, before nuzzling her briefly and then simply staring into her eyes, not even minding Delano and Lina who were still eating just a few feet away from them. "I like everything in you, not just your unpredictability." by that he was referring to the random races she would start or when she would suddenly run off and hide somewhere.

While it was tempting, Fadhili said nothing and kept her mouth shut. She knew that he would find her sooner or later, probably sooner, but she still enjoyed playing as if they were young cubs, it brought back good memories.

Umeme grinned back. "Yeah, well when was it that I said that I only like you for your unpredictability?" She eyed Muroki, daring him to answer the question, but wasn't able to keep the look for long before giving up and letting herself chuckle. "I also like everything about you," she said, smiling, "so you better not go and change on me." She batted his nose playfully with a paw. "Although if you do, I guess I can accept the changes and like you then. But for now, I think you're perfect."

Next to them, Delano finished eating from the kill and returned to Lina's side. Even though she was still eating, he placed hi chin on her shoulder, resting his head against hers as he closed his eyes and just listened to the world around him.

Following Fadhili's scent, it took only a short matter of time before Moto walked though the last patch of grass and to her smiling form. "Hello. Missed me?" he asked, grinning. "So what were you saying about being able to hide from me?"

Muroki thought about it for a moment, "Well... I never said that's what I was thinking..." it wasn't a very clever answer, but that was what he had in mind. He had a rather cubbish urge to nip at her paw when she used it to gently bat his nose, but he managed to restrain himself from doing that. "Don't worry, I don't think I'll be changing anything about myself anytime soon." he looked at her with a grin, "Same about you, because if you do, I'll have to kill you." he chuckled and took the paw she was using to bat his nose with his own paw.

Lina was still eating at her own pace, pausing for a moment when she felt something on her shoulder and smiling when she saw it was Delano. She went ahead and silently ate a little bit more before finishing. After she was done with that, she sat down and, like Delano, closed her eyes and just listened.

Fadhili knew that Moto was about to find her any moment know, but she didn't really mind. "Yes,m I certainly did miss you." she stared at him with a playful smirk "I never said anything about being able to hide from you." she said with a giggle, standing up and walking over to her mate, giving him a loving nuzzle. "But it's still fun to hide from you."
