Hakara laid down next to the cub. "Renee, when I said that you could call me your father now, I meant it. You can call me 'dad' now and for the rest of your life," he said.

Renee tilted her head "really?" she paused "dad" she looked up at the clouds again three clouds put together looked like a family of lions, the cub cloud looked like a storm cloud. It reminded renee of herself, Renee looked back to her new father

Hakara smiled. "If you want, Renee, I can take you for a safe walk tomorrow. We'll avoid the barren lands entirely," he told her. He thought about it. "If your mother wants to come, she can," he added.

Renee nodded excitedly "that would be great, Dad" she giggled

Hakara smiled. "And of course, your mother will teach you to become a mighty huntress. That's important for a lioness to know. Your mother is a great one. She overcame a great deal of trouble in her life," he stated.

Renee smiled "that would be awsome" she looked up to her mother "like what mother?" she asked changing her gaze between them both.

Hakara sighed. "Let's just say that she had a rough childhood. Her mother was an insane, hateful lioness who had one purpose: kill her nephew," she said.

Renees eyes nearly popped out of her head "did she suc eed? Is she still alive" Renee shivered
