Moto smiled broadly and released Delano and Lina from his grip. "Go get some rest. I'm sure you will feel much better tomorrow." He nudged the two of them towards the den to tell them that they didn't have an option to argue, and returned to Fadhili's side.

"I was expecting something much worse," he admitted to her once Delano and Lina were inside, "All this trouble over such a small matter? Rather shocking..." He nuzzled his mate before speaking again. "But I think it will be a good idea to be with them tomorrow, just in case. We wanted to talk to them anyways, so might as well take the opportunity to."

Delano hesitantly walked into the den with Lina. Kasi and his parents were already asleep, and so were Muroki and Umeme. Waking his brother up wasn't something Delano wanted to do. He will only tell what happened if Muroki will ask him.

Setting down at a far end of the den, Delano still wasn't entirely certain if Lina would be comfortable next to him. He looked at her, wanting to say something, but didn't. He couldn't think of anything that he didn't already say several times.

Fadhili went inside with her mate as did Delano and Lina after a few moments. "Me too..." she said, feeling actually relieved about the way Lina looked earlier. "If they have any sense in their heads, this whole thing will be forgotten by the morning." she returned her mate's nuzzle before lying down beside him after checking up on Umeme and noticing that she and Muroki well already asleep.

Lina quietly went over to her usual sleeping spot and lay down. She looked to her right, where Delano usually lay with her every night in expectation to find him there as always, but he wasn't there. It took her a few moments to notice he was on the other side of the den. She looked then at her own paws for a few moments before placing her head down on them. She was already used to sleeping with her head in Delano's mane but this would have to do, for today at least.

Moto followed Fadhili inside the den, noticing how Delano and Lina were separate from each other. Tomorrow they will all talk together, and Delano and Lina should see that they never really had a problem.

He lay down next to Fadhili, giving her a loving lick. "Good night," he whispered, and went to sleep.

The next morning, when Delano woke up, it was still dark. He lay shivering from the cold, and saw that Lina was too shivering. Delano crawled over to her, lying down next to her and warming her up with his body.

Lina was having a rather uncomfortable night. Not only was she used to having Delano's warmth next to her, but also the nights were getting colder and colder now that winter was drawing closer. The cold kept waking her up every once in a while and it always took her quite some time to fall back to sleep. She was awake when Delano crawled over to her and lay down close to her, and even though she happened to be asleep at that moment she inched over and cuddled closer to him.

Delano hesitated when Lina moved herself closer to him. He initially thought that she would move away, but to his surprise, she did the opposite. Not knowing if she was aware that he was still awake or not, nor what would happened if he moved even closer, Delano reached out and wrapped a paw around Lina.

To his relief, she didn't shrink away, and Delano set his paw down on her. With it still wrapped around her, Delano fell back asleep now that he was warm again with Lina.

Lina basically shuffled closer to Delano because she was cold. She woke up after a few moments after Delano fell back asleep, feeling an unusual warmth next to her all of a sudden. After a moment or two, she realized that the source of heat was actually Delano, which startled her a bit. She remained where she was however, simply staring at the sleeping Delano and wondering what she should do. She smiled after a short moment and shuffled even closer, resting her head deep in Delano's mane before going back to sleep.

With the early morning sun's rays entering the den, Delano slowly woke up again. He raided his head, blinking around and was rather shocked to see that except for him and Lina, the den was already empty. Lowering his head back on the ground, he watched Lina sleep, waiting for her to wake up, grateful that she allowed him to get close to her again. "I love you, Lina," he whispered, not really caring if she heard him or not, "and nothing will change that."

Outside, Moto and Fadhili sat together, waiting for Delano and Lina to get up. "I saw that Delano and Lina were curled up together," he said, "they weren't that way when they went to sleep."

Further away, Umeme was walking with Muroki, and decided to tell him what she had planned. "We hadn't eaten in several day now, so I think we should go hunt." She told Muroki. "If you help me out, it shouldn't take that much time."

Lina was still asleep when Delano whispered to her. Eventually she too woke up, purring upon noticing that Delano was still there and raising her head from him mane, looking at him with a happy smile. "Good morning." she said, leaning and touching her muzzle to his own while staring into his eyes. She was so happy that she had managed to put yesterday's events behind her and move on like last time. Hopefully such a thing will not happen again.

Fadhili looked at her mate with a smile. "I saw." she chuckled and gave him a nuzzle. "I don't think there's any reason to worry about what's going on with the two of them now." it felt good that this incident was finally out of the way.

Muroki was also much more relieved after seeing the way Lina and Delano were cuddled up to each other when he woke up. "Really, we haven't?"[/b] it was probably with everything that has happened around him lately that he forgot he even needed to eat in order to live, causing him to chuckle, "Alright, let's go get some breakfast."

Delano smiled at Lina, rubbing her muzzle with his. "Good morning," he said softly, happy to be talking to her again. He then shifted nervously, deciding to tell her something. "Yeah, when you were asleep, I told you something," he glanced around the den to confirm that they were indeed alone, "well, I said... that I love you." He felt his heart pound inside of him as he waited for Lina's response.

Moto nuzzled his mate back, "yeah, which also means that we will be able to get acquainted now," he said, "and this time, properly."

Umeme grinned at Muroki's cluelessness before padding off with him in search of some prey. "Hey, how about that wildebeest over there?" She asked, motioning at a lone animal separated from its heard. "It's alone, so getting it shouldn't be too hard."

Lina smiled, holding one of Delano's paws with her own paw. "Did you now?" she asked with a giggle, "You know you don't have to tell me that." she knew that he loved her already, but she never minded hearing him say it again, even if she'd hear it every five minutes. "Well guess what?" she asked, giving him a loving nuzzle. "I love you too."

Fadhili thought about it, "But we should give them some time." she said, "You know, to give them time to wake up properly and talk things over if they want to. We can talk to them when they come outside."

Muroki followed Umeme, also looking out for pray. His search lasted for a short while though because he found himself unable to take his gaze off Umeme. He still had a hard time believing that she was his mate now. Only when she talked did he notice the lone wildebeest. "Alright, let's go for it." he said, doubting they'll encounter any problems with taking the animal down.
