Unfortunately it's not only puppy mills and whatnot that do this... it might not seem as bad because a lot of people don't see it as the same thing but most of the meat and diary industry treat their cows, pigs, and chickens the same exact way. In fact... they are treated much crueler because they are just going to be killed anyway.

I'm not trying to start an argument or anything I just thought I'd add in some insight into the farm animals too because to me they are same as dogs and cats.
