Alone again Nuka thought sullenly as he walked away. He was always alone. He was supposed to be the heir and king but he wasn't good enough. Nuka snarled at a grasshopper as it hopped by him. The grasshopper was not phased. Flopping down in misery Nuka moaned, "I'm not good enough for anything. I'm useless and weak." He buried his head in his paws wallowing in self pity. Suddenly he was tumbling through the grass. When he got his bearings again he looked around and saw Nala. "What are you doing?" Nuka tried growling menacing at her, but instead sounded whiny.

"Just heading back to hunting practice." Nala responded. "What are you doing?"

"Don't you talk to me like that" Nuka growled. "I'm the heir!" and one day i'll be [i]your[i]king. You should show me some respect now, or i'll make your life miserable when I am" Nuka sneered at her. Nuka didn't understand why everyone hated him, why everyone was so mean, but he had to protect himself the only way he can. By being a savage little lion to everyone. so he did what he knew he had to do. He attacked Nala, not understanding how much stronger and skilled she was than him.

Nala rolled over and pinned Nuka down hard. " Nobody talks to me that way." she growled. "And from what I hear, you won't even get a chance to be the king."

Nuka's shocked gape turned into a furious glare. "I will be king! I'll be the greatest king you ever saw. Not that that would be hard." Nuka sneered to himself. "Why don't you go catch us some food. Or are you to weak to even do that?" Nuka tossed at her as he stalked away angry at the world and making a plan to win his mother's affection.

Nala rolled her eyes and walked away. That little cub didn't know anything....

Nuka was lost in thought as he was walking away. Why? he asked himself. Why am I so weak? How do i become better? suddenly he ran into a solid wall of flesh. He looked up and saw his angry father and mother facing off. "what's going on?" he asked his parents. THey both turned on him and Zira snarled at him then prowled away. "where is mother going?" he asked his Scar.

Scar only glared at his son. "To betray our family, Nuka. That is where she's going. She is about to bring a great dishonor upon us," he said.

confused Nuka took a great risk, he kept on asking his irrated father questions. "What do you mean Father? What is she going to do? How will she betray us?"

Scar sneered. "I can't tell you, Nuka. You're much too young to know at the moment," he said. He then raised his paw. "Are finished with your questions now?" he asked.
