Meanwhile, Hakara curled up in a corner of the den to rest.

Vitani looked at Renee. "How long have you been here?" she asked.

[Princess Renee]

Renee shrugged and looked up at the sky thinking and looked back down to Vitani "it's been eleven moons since they were killed"she said twitching her ear.

Vitani was sad from this news. The poor cub had been parentless for a long time! "Oh. I'm sorry. I promise I'll take care of you for as long as I live."

[Princess Renee]

Renee smiled softly looking down but then a butterfly caught her attention, she grinnedand chased after it.

Vitani laughed at the cub's enthusiasm. She then realized that, besides the fact that she was more built and had black and white fur, Renee looked just like her when she was a cub....

Hakara came over Vitani's side as the cub played. "We better warn her not to go towards the barren lands," he said.

Vitani nodded. "I'll keep an eye on her, and let her know that tonight."
