Vitani smiled. "We better go back up there now. Are you tired at all?"

"Very well, then." Vitani replied. "Come on. I wonder what they'r talking about." She ran up the rock into the den.

Hakara was waiting there. He waited for Vitani to come near him. "I hope I'm ready to be a father," he said.

"You'll do fine." Vitani said, nuzzling him. "I know you will."

Hakara sighed. "I've never even babysat a cub for a short time. I have no idea what to do," he said.

"Don't worry. If you need any help, there are three lionesses here that can help you." Vitani replied. She looked over at Malik at Mema. "Does taking your royal places at sunset sound good?" she asked.
