When Lina didn't say anything, Delano hesitated, not knowing what to do. He thought of maybe returning to Lina, but the thought of seeing her shy away from him was unnerving. He turned his head to look at her again, seeing how she was staring at the ground, avoiding looking at him. Seeing her like this made Delano make his mind up. He slowly approached her, averting his gaze when she did shy away from him. He leaned down to her, and gave her a quick lick. "Goodbye," he whispered, and began to walk away.

His legs felt weak, and Delano found it nearly impossible to keep going. To make things worse, he found it hard to breath as his emotions swept over him, and a few times he nearly stumbled over his own feet.

Umeme knew that she won't be able to keep up with Muroki for long, but she wanted to make the most of the while when she can still keep up. When Muroki overtook her, she quickly turned and ran the other direction, laughing as Muroki realized where she was going and had to turn quickly. "You can run!" Umeme taunted, "But can you dance?"

Lina was still unable to utter a single word, shying away from him once more when he again approached her, and simply remaining motionless when he planted a quick lick on her cheek. All she could get herself to do after that was to stare at him in the corner of her eye as he simply walked away.

Muroki turned in Umeme's direction with a playful grin, realizing that she really was aiming to play tag. He continued running after her, only to become completely confused at what she was saying. "Dance?!" he asked, nearly laughing herself. "Where in the world did you come up with that?" she was probably just toying around with him for her own amusement, but Muroki didn't really have a problem.

After what felt like an eternity, Delano reached the point where if he were to walk any further, Lina would be out of sight. He slowly turned around, hoping for one last time that that she would do something to signal that he can return to her. But instead, she was still on the ground where he left her, not moving. Feeling like he was no longer controlling his body, Delano turned back away from Lina, stumbling out of sight before collapsing on the ground.

Umeme grinned, avoiding getting tagged by Muroki by swerving from side to side. "You can't turn!" She taunted. "you are like a rolling log! You are unstoppable when going in one direction," she again side dodged him, "you need to loosen up and learn to turn. Learn to dance!" She stopped trying to dodge Muroki and let him catch her. "Let me show you how," she said, smiling.

Muroki allowed some fake frustration to show up on his face as Umeme continued running in circles, turning in a different direction every once in a few seconds. He growled playfully and kept chasing, pouncing at her the moment she stopped dodging him. "Dance?" he asked in confusion just before he and Umeme were both sent to the ground from his pounce. "I have no idea what does that mean." he said sheepishly, wondering what was this dancing Umeme was talking about.

"Here, let me show you," Umeme replied, getting up off the ground. As Muroki also got up next to her, she faced him, grinning. "You need to be nimble on your feet," she said, "your limbs provide more than just power, but also elegance and nimbleness. And when you are able to combine these three, then you can dance" She started moving backwards slowly, "just do what I do," she said, grinning. And so she began to show Muroki how to twist and turn like she used to outmaneuver him.

Muroki raised an eyebrow as Umeme offered to show him what she was talking about, but he allowed her to stand back up and got back to his feet as well. "Don't only monkeys dance?" he asked, finding this entire thing somewhat weird. Since when did lions dance? He continued to stare as she began to show him this staring, and after a few moments attempted to do it on his own, nearly falling off his feet due to inexperience. After a short while though, he began getting the hang of it , but it still felt odd to do this.

Umeme found Muroki's attempt amusing as he nearly tripped several times. "You'll get the hang of it eventually," she said, smiling, "and to answer your question, no, monkeys are not the only ones who dance." Deciding that Muroki had humiliated himself enough, she walked over to him. "You'll get good at this if you try," she said softly, "I know you can."

Muroki looked at Umeme as she came over, stopping his miserable-looking attempts. "Well, if you say so... But do I have to?" he asked, giving her the annoyed look cubs would give when they were told to do something they didn't like very much. However, seeing the look Umeme shot him soon after that, he chuckled and said, "Alright, I'll keep trying." he gently nuzzled her to show her that he was serious. "For you." he couldn't help but ask, "Why are you showing this to me though?"

Umeme smiled. "Because it's fun," she said. When Muroki grunted in annoyance, she let out a small laugh. "Well, it's fun once you get used to it," she said, "you just need to practice, that's all." She nuzzled Muroki back, purring with contentment. "Tell me that you didn't enjoy this at least a little," she whispered. She moved back a little. "If you really don't like it, you don';t have to do it," she said, "but I say that you will enjoy it much more once you get used to it."

Muroki gave a small look of annoyance at defeat at Umeme's statement. "Well, I have to admit that it is pretty fun..." he said, unable to lie and say that he wasn't finding this dancing amusing. He went ahead and tried it once more, only to trip yet again and end up on his back. It didn't take too long for Umeme to appear above him and giggle at his predicament. "I'll get a hold of it eventually, you'll see." he gave her a playful frown.
