Kovu looked down at this, for a Lion who had seemed so bent on raising him to be his protégée, he seemed so cowardly.

Nala and Ahadi stayed quiet and out of trouble. This was something Simba had to deal with....

Just then, Vitani entered the scene. She had had left Pride Rock for several days to contemplate her life and was now returning. She looked at what was going on. "Did I miss something?" she asked.

[Queen Elsa]

"Nothing really, except for that my sister and uncle want to kill Simba for a crime he didn't commit." Nala explained.

Vitani growled. "What are they? Stupid?" she asked.

[Queen Elsa]

"I don't know. Simba's tried to tell them the truth at least twice, but they won't believe him." Nala said.
"Yeah. They're not very good listeners." Ahadi said.

Vitani sighed. "Come on. You should end this before something bad happens. There's no reason to start another fight," she said.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala nodded her head and agreed. "Come on, Simba. Let's go." she whispered, then turned back to her sister and uncle. "We'll be watching for you all the time, so don't think you'll get away with anything." she then picked up Ahadi and ran off.

Simba led the group back towards Pride Rock. "So what now? I think it's time we put the Pridelands on watch and get ready for another conflict," he said.
