Delano smiled and followed Lina into the grasslands around them. "Yesterday, I was thinking," he said, "and I decided that I... that I really didn't have a reason to walk away like I did." He looked at Lina as they walked. "And I really felt bad because of it. This is why I really wanted to take you out today," he smiled, "because you mean a lot to me, and I want to show you exactly how much."

Umeme felt a slight chill, and huddled close to Muroki. She opened an eye and saw that he was already awake and watching her. "Oh, hi," she muttered sleepily, "is it morning already?"

Lina looked at Delano with a slight smile as he apologized to her yet again. "It's alright, really..." she herself wasn't really regretting that moment when they kissed yesterday, but she wasn't going to question the way Delano was feeling about it. If he felt uncertain about whether they should have kissed or not, she accepted it. "Well, I guess I'll just have to wait for you to show me how much you care about me." she said with a giggle, deciding to just wait instead of asking questions this time.

Muroki smiled once Umeme opened her eyes. "Yes, it's morning." he said, leaning over and gently kissing her. "Did you sleep well?" he asked after a few moments. He has been awake for quite a while now, but he didn't have a problem watching Umeme sleep so he allowed her to sleep for as long as she wished. Now that she was his mate, spending time with her was even better than it was until now.

Delano didn't know what to say, so he simply continued walking. After a while, he began walking a bit faster, and Lina was still following him. He again moved a bit faster, and soon found himself running with Lina following him. Delano grinned, enjoying the rush of air as he ran, made even better by the fact that Lina was with him. "Think you can keep up?" He challenged her, making sure to stay just in front of her.

Umeme smiled when Muroki kissed her. "Yeah, I slept well," she answered, "and I think you did too, by the looks of it." She slowly got up, yawning loudly. "Any plans for today?" She asked Muroki.

Lina grinned as she ended up breaking into a run. "Well, hopefully..." she said, chuckling. Not only was Delano capable of running much faster than her, he was also capable of running for a longer time so she might be able to keep up at first, if he wouldn't run too fast, but not for long. "Go easy on me though okay?" she asked, giving him a stare which was a combination of a grin and a pleading look.

Muroki smiled, standing up as well. "Well, not really..." he said, stretching himself a little bit. From the question it seemed like Umeme didn't plan anything for today either. Now that her parents were around, she probably wanted to spend some time with them and hear about what went on in their travels. "I bet you have some catching up to do with your parents huh?" he grinned. It's not like they had to spend every single moment together, so if she'd turn out to want to spend the day with her parents, with or without him, he wouldn't mind at all.

Delano flashed a smile at Lina after she gave him the pleading look. "Normally I wouldn't," he replied smugly, "but for you, I will go easy." He moved closer to her, but didn't slow down. "You're worth it," he said. True to his word, Delano let Lina take the lead, and together they ran on.

Umeme nodded her head. "Well, yeah," she said, "but hey, it will also be a good time then for you to properly get acquainted with them," she suggested. "What do you think about that? Yesterday you didn't really talk to them, so you can get to know them today!"

Lina gave Delano a fake frown, despite the fact that she was grateful for him slowing down. It was very tempting to push him off his feet for the way he was talking, but despite the temptation she held back from doing that. "Great, that means so much." she said sarcastically, giggling as she did. She could always just push him once she ran out of strength, but right now she was enjoying the run.

Despite the fact that they already accepted him and Umeme being together, Muroki couldn't help but get that feeling telling him that 'getting acquainted' with his parents-in-law would be weird. It might be weird, but it surely won't be as stressful as meeting them for the first time yesterday. "Yeah, I guess..." he said, hoping it wouldn't be that bad. "We'll see what they'll think about it first though..." how bad could it possibly be?

Delano could tell that something was up with Lina, but it didn't look like it was anything that he should be worried about. But for now, he felt playful and had to make a snarky reply to her own comment. "Well, I can always speed up," he suggested, "how would you like that?" He quickly jumped a little to the side to avoid Lina's retaliatory swipe, grinning as he did so.

Umeme laughed a little. "Still scared from them?" She asked, "come on, they will love it! I know they will want to get to know you better. Why would they not want to?" She smiled, leaning close to his ear, "what you should be asking," she whispered, "is when they will wake up, and then, when will they let you free again."

Lina, just after attempting to swipe a clawless swipe at Delano's feet, shot him a playful glare. "Don't push me." she said, hoping for his own good that he would get the message. They kept running forward together for a while, and eventually Lina began to grow tired from all the running. Deciding that this was the time to act, so she jumped at Delano and sent them down so they ended up on the ground right next to each other. "I... I got tired." she explained, letting out a short laugh.

Muroki looked at Umeme, "No, of course not. It's just that it's still weird for me to be around them, that's all..." he said, taking the opportunity of Umeme coming so close to get a hold of her and pull her into a tight embrace. "But alright, I'll spend the day with you and them." He gave her a big loving lick across her cheek, "Anything to make you happy." also, this really will be a good chance to get to know his parents-in-law better.

Delano ran with Lina, only for her to eventually jump on him and send the two of them rolling. He let out a startled cry when he felt himself get pushed over, but by the time they stopped rolling, he was already laughing. "You could have just said you wanted to stop," he complained, but smiling, "or did you spontaneously wanted to practice hunting?"

Umeme blushed when Muroki kissed her. "You really don't have to make it sound like some kind of torture that you're willingly going to," she said, "you will enjoy it. I promise you." She set her head down on his mane, happy to wait for her parents to get up in Muroki's embrace.

Lina couldn't help but giggle when Delano said that simply asking to stop would be enough. "I know, but this is more fun. And it is a hunting practice now that I'm thinking about it." she chuckled and crawled closer to Delano, nuzzling him, "Not that you make that difficult of a practice..." she continued nuzzling him silently for a few more moments. "So, since you didn't really pick a certain spot for us to spend the day together, I guess we'll just wonder around huh?"

Muroki chuckled, not letting her go, "I didn't mean in in the aspect of a torture," he explained, "It's just that I think it makes more sense for you, being their daughter, to spend time with them in order to catch up on what happened while they were gone. I dunno, I guess it just sounds like a private conversation subject to me... But as long as your parents wouldn't mind me being there, I'm all in for it."
