Well, it might sound nice, but it`s a very empty language. In English there`s "avalanche", but in norwegian it`s "snøskred", which literally means "snowslide". Instead of inventing a new word, they just put together two words.

The worst example is what some people in Norway call a frisbee, which is "sendeplate". That literally means "sending plate". How unoriginal is that? Still, pretty much everyone in Norway uses frisbee, I`ve just seen that word in some sport shops.

Norwegian: "Er det det det er". English: "Is that what it is".
Norwegian: "Fart". English: "Speed".

You know, all the romantic language are similar, what I love... I onli know a little of bad Spanish(you can know after reading my broken Spanish XD, sorry) and English but I can understand what is mean in general the sentence Italian, French, Portuguese... so cool. I had read and understand things in Italian when I was in there two or three years... it was very interest

Well, as you can see I speak English (mother tongue) and also learn some German in school. Ehrlich, ich nicht bin gut deutsch in schule.
I fear, this little example is full of mistakes. But for now, I don't mind. Maybe someone else can help me (not right now).
