Help me out!

Help me out!

Postby Woeler » January 22nd, 2012, 3:39 pm

So I bought this frame with a TLK picture in it, bought it secondhand and it was really cheap. I have it hanging in my room right now but I have no idea where it actually comes from. I've searched on the web and I Have only found one similar frame, and no similar picture. I went to a pressing company nearby and they confirmed that the picture was a lithograph.

Any more info would be appreciated!

Oh wow, that's a very neat frame.

The lithograph came in a set of 4 with (I think) the deluxe VHS collector edition. I know I've seen it included in a set of four quite often, at least.

Where that very awesome frame came from is a whole other question. I know when the movie was out they had very expensive sericels for sale at the Disney Store framed, but I can't remember for the life of me what the frame looked like and whether they also sold extra snazzy lithos like that in them.

....I wonder how much those come up? I think I found a new Ebay obsession :|

No I bought it secondhand via a Dutch website. 15 bucks.

That frame is simply amazing. I love it. I think I'll need four after I picked these up in an antique store today for 10 bucks. Also lithographs from a special edition. Maybe they 4-in-a-set are all different. I'd love to collect them all:

the frame is a platinum edition litho frame that was listed once or twice in a disney catalog. it was designed to go with most litho sets, including the platinum edition four lithos, but the prints didn't come with the frames.

Thanks a lot for this info, tbh I couldn't find a thing about it.
