The sun was low in the sky, for it was morning. It was rising slowly as Amy awoke, she yawned loudly and stretched out. She lay for a moment, in the rocky den she had found last night. She looked out to the horizon, it had been a whole full moon since she left home. Amy was a Princess, but a Princess who left her Pride to discover life's adventures as a rouge.

She does not regret her decision however. She smiled as the rays of the sun warmed her face and a cool breeze ruffled her ears. Amy stood up and stretched her hind legs, before she began walking towards the direction of a waterhole she saw in the distance. Her paw pads touched the ground, the warmth of the hot earth ran through her body. She looked to the sky, there were clouds visible far, far away. The rainy season would not come yet.

The land around her was affected, it was dry and barren, a few tree's lived but most had lost there leaves. The waterhole she saw was not a mirage, for she didn't feel hot or dizzy. She had smelt the water, and the many animals that she could see there. There was no other lions, much to her surprise. For all she knew, there could be quite soon.

The sound of paws against ground was loud to only the lion himself. It was early morning, and Erevu was in search of water. Although the wind was not in favour, the rouge could see the signs of water. The plants around him were greener, indicating that a waterhole was close.

He licked his dry lips, and coughed slightly. It had been a while since he had drunk, and he hoped the waterhole wouldn't be too overcrowed.
"What if there are other male lions?", he asked himself. Erevu thought that he'd be useless at fighting, especially with older lions.

He shook his fur, to rid of the dusty sand that had gathered on top of his back. He stretched his front paws and retracted his claws, admiring them for a moment. He liked to keep clean, and he didn't mind having a bath every now and again, so that's what he'd do at this waterhole.

As Amini awoke from the rock that had served as his resting place for the past few nights, the sun was already rising. Although he was a rogue, he had been staying close to the water hole that he recently found since water was a valuable resource during the dry season. To his surprise, he had not encountered any other lions there yet. He was nervous about the possibility that a pride could soon find the water hole. He realized that he could be in danger if he was perceived as an unwelcome intruder.

As he approached the water hole this morning, he was taken aback by what he saw. Not only was a young lioness taking a drink, but another lion was taking a bath in the water. Immeadiately, his mind tried to guage the situation. "Were they mates? Members of a larger pride? Rogues like himself?" He decided that his best course of action was to take his drink at a safe distance from the others and see how they reacted to his presence.

The sun's warmth eventuaily met a hyena's den. The large hyena felt the sun's warmth touch his stout he sniffed abit before opening his eyes. And giving a large yawn he smiled another day what was he going to do today well there was important sleeping to be done. While he was thinking of where to do this a large rumble emerged from his stomach

"Ahh good idea"he laughed patting his belly the large hyena stood up slowly and started to waddle into the sun light. "I'll get some breackfast first"he said as he was aproching the water hole his head to the floor sniffing for prey he was near the water hole when his head shot up in fear. "Lions"he said fearfully seeing them

Aria stared around, thankful to see barely any lions around. She flinched as something flashed past her. "What ..." Aria sighed then sat down, flicking her tail. Shebkind of wanted a friend but.. there wasnt anyone around her. Aria huffed then scratched the ground.

She stood then padded to the wateringhole. Aria slowly took a drink, looking for others.
