Kasi looked at Delano and Lina, who were quite oblivious to their surrounding by the looks of it, and then looked back at Muroki. He shrugged and grinned, feeling rather foolish. "Well, if you're family now, don't I have a right to worry?" He retorted.

He motioned at Delano and Lina. "They don't have a clue about what's going on, so I guess that I have to worry for all three of us."

Muroki was still smiling at the way Kasi was being so concerned about them. "Well, we're not going anywhere, so there's no need for you to worry." when Kasi motioned towards Delano and Lina, Muroki looked at them, smiling at how happy they seemed next to each other. Of course that what Kasi said left him completely confused. "What do you mean?" he asked, looking at his cousin with a raised eyebrow. Why would there be any reason for them to worry, not to mention to worry about Lina and Delano being together.

Kasi walked over to Muroki and sat down next to his cousin. "Well, look. When you came here, the two of you did everything together. There really wasn't Delano and you, but more rather the two of you acting as one..." Kasi motioned at Delano again. "And then he leaves, and now the two of you are... well, you're not the same. For better or worse, I can't really tell yet, but there's a difference."

He sighed. "And I just have a feeling that I should be worried." He then smiled. "But that's just me."

Muroki couldn't help but smile at what Kasi was saying. "Come on Kasi, you're worrying for no reason. So what if he's with Lina and I'm with Umeme? That didn't mean I didn't worry about him when he was away, and I'm sure he was worried not only about Lina but also about us while he was gone." Sure, he and Delano weren't spending that much time together as they used to, but it's not like they were complete strangers to each other. There were the runs they took in the mornings, which Muroki was about to suggest they started going on again after giving Delano some time to settle back in, and now that Delano was back they could also return to hunting together every once in a while like they used to.

Kasi looked over his cousins again. "Well, if you say so..." He got up and began to walk away. Stopping near some tress, he quickly looked back. "Tonight we'll be back in the den, right?" He asked.

Umeme watched Kasi walk away. "You know, now I'm kind of worried about him," she told Muroki, "Kasi, he's so different now. He never really worried before... Is he afraid of something?"

Muroki nodded at his cousin, "Yes." after he walked away, he looked at Umeme, thinking about what she said just after Kasi walked away. "I'm not sure..." he said after a short silence, again trying to think. "Maybe he's just having a hard time with all the changes that are going on..." With Umeme and him becoming mate and Delano suddenly being back and with Lina, Kasi was probably just in need of some time to get used to this. "I'm sure he'll get used to everything eventually." he said, smiling at his mate and nuzzling her.

Umeme smiled and nuzzled Muroki back, but her eyes were still on the place where Kasi had disappeared off to. "I hope he does get used to it. I miss the old care-free Kasi," she said. Another thing she was wondering was how long it would take Kasi to get over the attack on his parents. Ever since the attack, he started acting like a protector. He always wanted to know where everyone were and what they were doing. And it was something that wasn't meant to be Kasi's job.

Muroki sighed, "I know what you mean." not that this Kasi was simply impossible to live with as far as Muroki was concerned, but he too was missing the way his cousin was always so positive about everything. While Kasi didn't look miserable the way he was now, he would be much happier if her went back to living his life the way he always used to. Not only that, with the underworld gone, there was no reason for Kasi to act so protective or for him to get nervous over every single little thing.

Umeme grinned mischievously. "Speaking of old, I remember that you used to be quite a runner," she gave Muroki a quick lick before getting up. "What happened to that?" She gave Muroki a hard shove, pushing him into the water, and bolted off, laughing.

The sudden noise brought Delano out of his passiveness next to Lina. He looked up just in time to see Umeme run away, and a very wet and undignified Muroki getting out of the water where he fell. Delano grinned, "well they are in a very good mood," he told Lina, "but I think that we are too."

Muroki smiled at the lick, and apparently it served it's cause because it distracted him well enough for Umeme to get up and shove him before he could even anticipate it. Muroki re-surfaced with a slight frown which was soon replaced with a sneaky grin as he got out of the water and took off after Umeme. Lina chuckled looked at Delano. "So do I. I mean, I feel good, so... that most likely means that I'm in a good mood." she said, nuzzling Delano so to prove her point.
