Marian put the stake in the ground and sat on it so that it would stay in. "Alright. I'm ready when you are."

Robin nodded. "Then let's go. I just hope that they'll be willing to care for the horses until your father approves and we have a place to put them," he said as he put the final stake in the ground.

"Alright." The vixen descended from the wooden stake and walked over to Robin. "We might as well look around. I think I know a few of the people here."

Robin smiled. "Then let's go," he said, waiting to follow her.

The Month Passed with no major events, aside from Robin's house being rebuilt. With the whole town helping out in whatever little way they could it was up before anyone knew it. Friar tuck blessed it, and now Longstride estate was rebuilt, better than before some might say. The Former Prince John, sir hiss, and ex sheirif did a lot of the heavy lifting.

Then, it happened.

Robin and Marrian were about ready to sit down when Skippy, his Sisters and Toby knocked at the door.

Robin rushed to the door and opened it to see Skippy, his sisters and Toby standing there. He smiled. "Greetings. What brings you here today?" he asked.

" Robin Robin Robin Robin. He's back, Prince Reynard is back!" Skippy shouted, hopping up and down. one paw holding the still over sized hat Robin gave him for his birthday, the other on the new qiver full of arrows with a strap to hold his bow.

Robin chuckled at Skippy's enthusiasm. "All right, calm down, lad," he said. He then turned to Marian. "Did you hear that, Marian? Your father has returned from France. Shall we go and ask for his permission for us to marry?" he said.

"I thought you'd never ask!" She sprang up from her seat. "Thank you, kids," the fox said, rushing out the door. "Come on, Robin!"

Robin followed Marian to where King Richard and Prince Renard were. He cautiously walked over to Marian's father and bowed. "Prince Renard, I'm sure that King Richard told you how in love Marian and I are. May I have your blessing to marry her?" he asked, hoping for a positive response.
