This was really cool! The "Mufasa is Evil!" line was suprising. On the 4th page, when Mufasa finds out about Zazu, he looks majorly pissed off. It was a little freaky.
Mufasa looks so ridiculously hostile in so many of these subcanon comics it's creepy.
To answer the issue that a few people have raised, Ed actually talks in several comics, as well as one of the two German audio plays featuring Kopa. It sort of makes me wonder if he suffered some kind of brain injury just prior to the hyenas' encounter with Simba and Nala in the movie (causing some kind of brain injury) and then something got dropped on his head at the end of the movie, "undoing" the previous accident.
...Omg, that's how me & my friends used to used to justify the speaking when we'd play, I'd pretend to run into something XD That or ghost Scar would possess Ed cause there was all that extra empty space in his head to occupy, haha.

Not that that's here or there, but fun memories. Great minds, lol.
Well, I'll see what I can do...
They'll need to be scanned and edited because they are all in Dutch.
So could take some time.
The comic I posted here was originally in Dutch, but I was able to translate it with Google's Translator tool. Be sure to check out the many comics that have already been scanned and translated (here and here) so that you aren't scanning one that has already been added. ; )

Ooh, I like the "possessed by Scar" idea. It actually makes sense too, since Jim Cummings (Ed's voice actor) did sing the last third or so of 'Be Prepared". : )

Thanks for those links!
My English is fluent so that's not the problem. It's the editing that could take some time. My poor laptop has trouble running Photoshop and paint lately.

You're welcome! (Also, you could send me the scans and I could translate and edit them. It wouldn't be any problem.)

I got quite a kick out of "Mufasa is EVIL!"

Not sure what I think of Ed talking. Interesting find.
