The sun has really set on Scar's time as ruler.

The sun has really set on Scar's time as ruler.

In The Lion King, the climax of the battle of Priderock comes when Simba corners Scar at the top of Priderock and the two end up fighting it out.

This is specifically about the music that plays during the fight. It's awesome and epic, I agree. But the ending... does it sound like there's some sort of an alarm clock or something? Did Scar's time literally run out?

I'm talking about 0:32 - 0:37 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID8xQ6YT8PU

Interesting find. I could hear the noise you are referring to, but I'm not sure if it was meant to be an alarm clock sound or not. It would be some pretty cool symbolism if it was though.
Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away.
