The lead lioness smiled. "Hopefully, you two will survive though. You look like strong males. That's exactly what we and our cubs need at this moment," she said.

" We'll have to be fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing." Sun Tzu said. " And now that you know our names, would you please do the same so we know the names of our fellow Pride members?" The young male with only a small tuft of a mane asked.

The lead female turned back and smiled slightly. "My name is Malkia. I am honored to have you in our presence. I apologize for the harsh way I treated you, but we don't take too kindly to new males coming in, because of the cub issue. Now, give it some time and I'm sure the other lionesses will begin to respond positively to you," she said.

" No Offense taken Malkia." Sun Tzu said. " Not to sound rude, but you think we could get something to eat, My friend and I haven't eaten since we woke up." Sun tzu said. " I know the males ussual patrol the territory for intruders alone, but given the recent events, it might be best to have use all stay close to each other, and how many cubs are there by the way. We need to know so we can make sure as many of them make it to adulthood." Sun tzu said to Malkia.

Malkia thought for a long moment. "Well, since you're hungry, there are plenty of cheetahs, hyenas, leopards wild dogs and other predators. You might be able to chase one off its kill. It's not yet time for us to hunt. The heat is too intense at the moment," she said.

" OK, I might be back with a kill." Sun Tzu said as he headed. Off. As he walked the sahvanah, he realised just how hot it really was. Then he looked up and saw a male cheetah with a freashly killed Imparla calf. SunTzu was thankful it didn't see him as he crouched down, just as he seen down on Big Cat Diary. He slinked closer, inch by inch. the Cheetah was unaware, too busy filling It's stomach. It was then Sun Tzu struck and Tackled the Cheetah. Sun Tzu killed it with a bite to the neck. "I hope Malkia won't mind two kills." He smiled as he hoisted the cheetah onto his back, and took the Imparla back in his mouth. When he arived , he started to chow down on the cheetah first, not wanting to share it. Jasiri you can help your self to the Imparla, the Cheetah is all mine." Sun Tzu said as he ate within the shelter and shade of good cover.

Jasiri began to eat the impala in the shade of another tree that was nearby. After a bit, Malkia decided to go check on the two males. "Well, are you all right now?" she asked.

"yeah, these should tie us over till we hunt later, I know that lionesses do most of the hunting; but maybe we could help?" Sun-Tzu offered.

Malkia nodded. "Of course. Both of you may help us. Right now, I'm going to go rest up for the hunt, but if you still have questions, feel free to ask my two eldest daughters. They've just come to adulthood and know the area very well. I will return later when the sun has started to go down. We hunt then," she said.
