Waking up as a Lion ( A non-Lion King RP)

" Or we could be te first of a new kind of male lions, ones that adopt the cubs. After all, I'm sure as long as we just kill the males then I think we'll be gold. Also it would allow us to test to see if our instincts will rule us." Sun-Tzu said.

Jasiri nodded. "Very well. We'll give it a try. I just hope the lionesses will accept us. I'm sure they will once we see that we have no intention of hurting their cubs," he said, looking around. His stomach growled. "I'm hungry," he said.

Just then Sun Tzu saw some two Male lions. He pulled Jasiri down just in time. "We might be lucky and get a dead lion as a meal, those Lions look fighting mad." He said as the two males duked it out. in a rare turn of events, it was a stalemate, both lions were killed. "Come on before the scavengers...." Sun tzu started before he saw more lions, females, cubs, and adolessonts. " Two different and very confussed Prides." He mused, then realityy hit him, these WERE the Ridge and marsh prides. "OK..." Hugh?" He stopped as he felt something pull on his tail. A little lion cub just a mounth or two old. Soon it's mother, the lead female of the Marsh pride saw them.

Jasiri looked around as the lionesses began to surround them. He looked at his new companions as the lioness approached them. He backed up slightly.

The lead lioness growled at the two new males standing in their presence. "Who are you and why are you here? Are you here to kill our cubs?" she asked.

" If we wanted to kill your cubs, then why am I letting this little guy play with my tail?" Sun-Tzu asked as the Lioness seemed to relax as the cub continued to play with his tail. " And why we're here is because we want to join a pride, looks like you can use two males." He offered. The Lionesses scaned them over, and after realizing they were no threat, they all relaxed. " All right, welcome to the pride, speaking of which maybe we should form a new Pride." She sugested as the other Females nodded in agreement.

The lead lioness sighed. "Very well, we will accept you, but if any sign of treachery is seen in either of you, I will act. My judgment will be swift. Do I make myself clear?" she said.

Sun tzu nodded. "Yes Ma'am." The lead lioness accepted this. " Maybe we should move out before the scavengers come by, Hyena's love to kill Lion cubs." Sun Tzu said.

The lead lioness nodded. "Yes. We'll find a secure site to rest. While we're there, you can tell me and the others all about yourselves. I want to know, and I'm sure the others do as well," she said, calling her cubs to her and moving away in the opposite direction, the others following.

Jasiri looked towards Sun-Tzu. "Well, now we get to try and explain everything to them. Any ideas?" he whispered, wondering what to say.

" Follow my lead on this." Sun-tzu whispered as he, Jasiri, and the pride moved to a secure location with decent shade. "OK, so who are you, where are you from, and why do you want to join our pride?" The lead Lioness asked. " I'm Sun-Tzu, and this is Jasiri. We were 'Pets" of a wealthy human until recently, and as to why we want to join your pride; we want to live like real lions." He explained.

The lead lioness paced back and forth as she examined these two former pets. "And how can I be sure you two know how to live out here on the savannah? It's a very hard life," she said.
