Siblings: Unknown.
Mate: No one.
Pride: Rogue.
Personality: Basara doesn't say much, as he never really had any lion friends when he was growing up. He can be socially awkward when it comes to making friends, but he's a very affectionate and proud protector when it comes to his tribe. He puts his family first and will protect them no matter what the cost. He prefers to spend his time with females of the tribe, as they are much more caring and gentle towards him. Though he has never had a mate or cubs of his own, Basara loves to watch over babies-- humans, animals, ect.-- and make sure they know they're in good paws when he's around.
History: When Basara was a cub, his mother was banished from his father's pride after she attacked another lioness. While Gathoni was hunting for food for the two of them on their own, she was attacked by a male lion who didn't like her hunting on his territory. The male lion never found Basara, as he had run off before he could notice Gathoni had a cub with her. Near death whilst being on his own, a tribe of African humans found the cub and took him into their village. To convince the leader to allow Basara to join, they had to get him drunk (hence where Basara's name comes from). Basara grew up in the village, protecting livestock and patrolling the grounds for invader tribes and/or harmful forces against his home. As he grew into his full, thick mane, the females of the tribe beaded parts of his hair brightly. When he started being of more protection against other lions and lionesses attempting to kill livestock in the village, the leader of the tribe painted the village symbol on Basara's left shoulder.
