Delano was woken up rather harshly, which did not help his already foul mood. Once again, he found himself next to Gakuru, heading towards the main hall, most likely to watch another speech by Sanders.

He came here to find answers, but got them already yesterday. Now the biggest problem Delano was facing was the fact that he needed proof of what he found before he can do anything about it. And finding this proof was so far impossible. Back at training, he was taught how to read and write, but Delano had yet to find a scrap of writing here.

It was very likely that the underworld communicated by mouth only, which made getting proof of who was in charge effectively impossible. Delano could be stuck here for a very long time.

Sander's speech was just as any other morning speech. "Today's going to be another day according to the regular basis." he started, "You go in groups, remain out of sight and you take out someone when you can." he himself needed to get back to the police caves now, as they will be looking for him in order to 'get to work'. He was already a pro in that though, he could go between the two cave systems quickly and without being spotted, almost to the point where the underworld and the police would think that he was never gone.

"Wait, what are we supposed to do?" Delano asked Gakuru. He hoped that he would not have to fight anyone, but if he were to keep his cover, Delano might just have to kill someone else.

Something he was not prepared to do.

Gakuru looked at Delano with a smirk, "Isn't it obvious? We're going to have some fun. Now since you're new you can just watch, and see how we get it done. Out most common method of making the kills look accidental is by faking snake bite marks." he was basically telling Delano stuff Delano already knew.

Delano nodded. If he was able to watch, he would be able to come. Maybe he might even make a 'mistake' and alert the victim to run. This way, Delano would still be able to keep his cover. "Alright," he said, "let's go."

Gakuru lead him outside, where they met up with two other lions. Once again, Delano felt his nervousness rise up as he was looked upon with suspicious eyes. He didn't think it was a problem, but when one of the other lions asked Gakuru who Delano was, Delano feared that they somehow knew who he was.

Gakuru went ahead and introduced Delano. "This is Colt, he's new. He was exiled from the pride for no reason." he looked at Delano and said, "Follow us and keep a low profile. You'll get the hang of this eventually."

Delano nodded, and the group set off. They walked with a vigor that he found unsettling. They wanted to kill, and now Delano knew why they had gone unnoticed for now. These groups were no push-overs, and knew what they were doing.

Despite his underlying hate for them, Delano felt a bit impressed by how organized they were. One lion was usually sent ahead to scout, and the rest moved together, but not so close as to be spotted at once. The only way to stop them now was to know that they were coming.

Gakuru was the one who went as a scout every once in a while. He always returned without seeing anyone. "Everyone's being more careful now..." he said quietly, not risking being heard by anyone else even though they were alone. This was making their job a lot more frustrating, but they still remained well organized and acted carefully. "We'll just need to carry on looking, that's how it mostly goes." If all else failed, they could always search by the borders and take out guards. However, according to Sanders' orders, they had to look deep in the territory for young lions and lionesses, since killing them would bring the king and the entire pride into bigger stress compared to killing a border guard.

Delano felt an unpleasing familiarity when they entered the kingdom borders. Looking around, he was glad to see that they were in a different area than his home, but he still wanted to just leave. But all he could do was hope that by the end of the day, they won't find anyone.

Trying to distract the others from the job, he tried asking, "so what's the point of these raids, anyways? What do they accomplish?"

Gakuru went ahead and explained, "To weaken the pride in order for us to take over of course." he didn't know that Sanders was also using this because he wanted to get hold of the throne and then ditch them all. Nobody in the underworld knew that. "Besides, it's also fun. It's a good way to relieve some anger." while to Delano that sounded horrible, that's just how every single member of the underworld felt like. Those lions were just born without a conscience as one might name it.
