Thor nodded as they got further into the woods. Upon reaching the pack's territory, both Thor and Aleu began to howl. The wolves began to emerge from their hiding places to meet them. They then saw the new arrival. "Who is this?" one of them asked.

Zen-Aku stepped out from behind his Parents. "I'm Zen-Aku, Thor and Aleu are my New Mom and Dad." He said with a smile.

The wolf who had spoken stepped down from the rocks she had been standing on. She looked at the newcomer. "And how did you find him?" she asked.

Thor looked at her. "We found him in Nome, at the home of Balto and Jenna. He is my son and nothing can undo that," he stated, hoping the female would stop her questions.

Zen-Aku looked up at Aleu. " Hey Mom, can I go play with the other pups?" He asked, looking at the Pups.

Aleu nodded. "Sure. Go have fun. We'll howl when it's time for the evening hunt," she said.

Zen-Aku eagerly wagged his tail as he introduced himself to the other Pups. Soon enough he was at home in the Pack.

Aleu and Thor were watching Zen and the other pups play. Soon enough, however, evening was upon them and it was time to hunt. Thor howled to signify this.

Back in Nome, Ice had been watching the vet stitch up Tundra. Finally, the pup was fixed up and returned to his mother. "Ok, Tundra, I think we should hide out with Uncle Balto, but I want you to try to stay out of sight if Steele comes around," she said.

Tundra smiled at his Mother. "OK Mom." He smiled as he drifted off to sleep.

Zen-Aku trotted up to his Parents as he tried his own howl.

Aleu chuckled playfully. "Come on, it's time to go hunting. We'll practice your howl later," she said, beginning to head towards the grazing grounds of the caribou herds.

Ice watched her son sleep. "Forgive me for everything I've done. Let's hope that everyone else is," she said quietly and wistfully.
