I am once again taking a leave from MLK due to the negative atmosphere and because Snowycheetah still thinks he is a mod. I am honestly stressed out enough as it is, and this place is so self-contradicting it makes me sick. As you may guess, things got heated in a debate on the Smarty Pants Forum, but I was the only one being attacked for pointing out that someone was restricting the free speech of others, and contradicting himself at the same time.

I don't care about the pride points, but I did nothing wrong in pointing out that an argument without evidence is not valid at all. HE called scientists and their evolution theory foolish, and I pointed out that those that argue without any evidence are the fools. I am wrong for using the methods of logic and reasonable modern thinking? I am rude because I point out someone's error?

I really don't know when I'll be back, but I hope by then some actual guide lines are set for the Smarty Pants Forum where certain people aren't allowed to say whatever they want without sufficient evidence. I am also hoping that certain people on this forum are gone by the time I get back, since they have been on mine since day 1. Looking at you Snow =)

I would like to apologize sincerely to the moderators if this post is too intense for this forum, and to anyone that I might've pissed off on the forums, but I am not being attacked for pointing out when someone makes an invalid argument. MLK has a dark history of suppressing certain view points, and of God loving zealots who don't leave any room for anyone to speak. I suggested to Moka secularising MLK, meaning the removal of all religious views from signatures and avatars, but that was clearly ignored.

SnowyCheetah has been targeting me since just before he became a Mod. The only reason he did it was because he saw the opportunity. And eliminating free speech? NZ said don't talk about anything of God's existence in a thread discussion about God. THAT is limiting free speech. Also, if he doesn't want to hear evidence against his belief, then he should really consider just staying home his whole life, because that isn't how the world works. I have my right to free speech, and he has his.

Also, I really don't like how I am treated here sometimes. I say one thing, and people attack me for it. If it looks like I'm being nasty, well that's what a discussion is. I'm pointing out the flaws in his argument and presenting my own. I already apologized to NZ and you can ask him yourself. I've already moved on Azd, and I really don't see MLK as a place of fun and enjoyment anymore, but a place where my free speech is wrong, but the zealots get all the right to speak their minds.

And making MLK secular would not eliminate free speech, but keep order. They already don't allow hate speech because it's damaging to the public. I say religious zealotism on a freaking forum about Lion King is ridiculous and damaging, so they should be avoided. Though I guess I'm probably gonna get - 100000 pride points for even suggesting it, right? Honestly, this place has gone down hill over the past year I've noticed. All Moka cares about is the number of members and post he gets, not how many leave or why. I told him Snowy was on my case two years ago, and he made him a moderator. This place only has order for the zealots and punks who think they are better than everyone else. When ever I make an opinion, I'm immediately wrong and I feel intimidated and bullied on here. That's right, I feel BULLIED.

Silly, the difference between you and Snowy is that you are down to earth, and he's a total kiss up. He was moderating and acting like a mod even before he was a mod, and that is why he was given the position. Honestly, don't feel bad about not being a mod around here. You are awesome and should just be happy with that. It was great to rp with you, if only for a short time. One of the few people I respect on here is you.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this. If it's any consolation I always thought you seemed like a cool guy. A bit opinionated at times but then again, that doesn't have to be something bad. I do admire people who stand up for what they believe even when they're being bashed by others. I hope something can be done about the negative things you've experienced. You shouldn't have to feel bullied on a Lion King forum =/

Nothing will be done, because the bullies in about two cases were the moderators themselves, so MLK is going to stay like this throughout. Thanks for your consolation, and I try to be a fair person in an argument, but when the opposing side uses no evidence or reason, I get upset. Why? Because I feel humanity has to go forward, and arguing without any sort of evidence and just faith is a primitive thing to do. Makes me feel like we aren't going to go much further.

I can't speak for Moka, but then again I don't think you should either. Without sounding like a suck up, I am sure he took your concern into consideration. Why wouldn't he? You seem to think that he is out to get you, that he has some vendetta that he is constantly waging against you.

That happens on 99% of the internet. Unfortunately, you rarely see someone actually citing sources for their info.

I feel bad you're leaving. I haven't seen you around a lot, but I was somewhat familiar with you. You seemed like a really cool guy and I regret not being able to talk more with you. I'm not going to try to convince you stay, because you seem to be a very compenent person who has no doubt has put a lot of time and thought into this decision. I wish you the best of luck on wherever the circle of life leads you.
